Afterward, we'll head over to [Olentangy River Brewing](https://www.olentangybrew.com/) for drinks, coffee, or food (their Sunday [food truck](https://www.olentangybrew.com/eventsandfood) is Venezuelan and always gets good reviews). If you can't make the hike, we should be there by noon. **How to find our starting point in Big Meadows:** If you are new to Highbanks, the Big Meadows picnic area is 1.5 miles into the park just after you turn into the park off of U.S. Route 23. That is, after you enter the park, drive a mile and a half into the park. You will come to a crosswalk with a yield sign in the middle of it (this is not to be confused with the first such crosswalk you come to just in front of the Nature Center, which you arrive at maybe a quarter of a mile into the park). Just after this second crosswalk, make a left. Then make another almost immediate left into the parking lot on your left. There you will see the jungle gym and the kiddie zip line to your left. I will be just in front of the restrooms just a bit further down from the jungle gym and picnic shelter; the restroom building will also be on your left.

We’re finally getting started. Join us this Sunday, March 29 at 10am at Thompson Park for our first group walk together. Meet at the flagpole next to the Shelter House (near the Children's Playground), and we’ll head out at 10:05. We’ll do two laps of the big loop around the park. All paces and fitness levels welcome — the goal is simply to get outside and walk. See you there.

Fresh bakes like warm cinnamon rolls and sweet coffee cakes that hit just right. And that’s just the start. We’ll have cocktails mixed and ready, juices chilled, sodas on ice, and plenty more to keep the energy up. Think mimosas, good conversation, music in the background, and that perfect mix of sunshine and shade. It’s about warm vibes, real connections, and food that makes you close your eyes on the first bite. Inspired by our successful events like "Saturday Mornings @ East Market" and other "Pot Luck in the Park" lunches, this gathering promises to be a blend of fun conversations, language exchange, and cultural insights, all while sharing wonderful foods with each other. Please bring a dish to share and anything you would like to drink. We will provide plates, plastic silverware and napkins. So, come hungry and ready to chat! Note: Since the weather is unpredictable in April, we have a couple of places in mind for the Pot Luck. We have reserved a room in the Dublin Library from 1-2:30 PM for the meal, if necessary. \* But if the weather is nice on April 12th, we are planning to meet in Bridge Park, possibly in the covered shelter area at 12:00 Noon. We will update the details closer to the date of the Pot Luck but wanted to get this out to everyone so that you can make plans for that day.
