Join us for an exhibition visit to **mumok** to experience *Tobias Pils: Shh*—a body of work that sits somewhere between abstract and familiar, where shapes, figures, and fragments blur into each other. Pils’ paintings don’t try to explain themselves. They move between themes like becoming and fading, presence and absence—almost like each image is part of an ongoing process rather than a finished statement. This isn’t about understanding every piece. We’ll walk through the exhibition together, and afterward break into small groups to share what stood out to us—the one painting you kept coming back to, the one that made no sense but stayed with you, or the one you didn’t expect to feel anything about. No pressure to analyze everything. Just bring your perspective. After the exhibition, we’ll head to a nearby café to continue the conversations in a more relaxed setting. Were having a very special drawing session this time! Just before on this day (see other event) we are having our very first workshop for newcomer models and everyone interested in posing. As a special occasion we want to provide an experimental drawing session for the new models to test their new skills if comfortable. Our workshop leading model Susanna will take the lead in this session. If other models from the workshop feel comfortable, we might have switching models, poses with multiple models, nude, non-nude or a mix of everything above! Let's make this a safe environment for everyone to feel comfortable and figure out new things. The Kulturankerzentrum is located at Brünner Straße 34-38 a couple minutes walk from Bahnhof Floridsdorf. The location will be private just for our event, there will be drinks at our little bar. The cost of participating will be 10€, Entry starts at 16:30, the session itself will be from 17:00-19:00 Afterwards there will be enough time to connect and meet other artists and models Please bring your own drawing equipment, all you need is paper and a pen. The summer edition is the second workshop in the "Grow your own Vegetables" workshop series. As always, our "vegetable whisperer" Kim will provide hands-on guidance as we work together. You’ll learn how to properly transplant young plants, determine the ideal spacing, and understand why this is so vital for plant health. We will also cover the differences between greenhouse and outdoor cultivation, which crops are better off being transplanted versus sown directly, and the conditions needed for plants to grow into strong, fruit-bearing specimens. Hi Running fellows, Whether you’re a walker, new to running, a semi-pro, a marathonist or a sprint star - if you want to start your weekend in an active way and enjoy the outdoors in lovely surroundings with a fun, international and multilingual group of people, you are welcome to join us! Every Saturday at 9:30 am, we meet, we run, in the magnificent Schönbrunn park, and then we go for breakfast. Want to discuss politics or the best recipes for banana pancakes? Not a problem. Not feeling social? Tune out with your earbuds - we can talk over breakfast. We are casual. You can be too. What to expect: Start by meeting Adrian, Ali, Liz, Paul and Sonia on-time at 9:30am outside the Schönbrunn U-Bahn stop (exit Grünbergstraße). (Coordinates: 48.1858130, 16.3200640) From there, we walk to the side park entrance where the “running” part begins. The important thing is that you run at your own pace. Typically, small groups of people will run at the same pace as you, so you never have to walk/run alone :) We finish one hour later, at about 10:40am, reconvening just inside the Hietzinger Tor exit. (Coordinates: 48.1858825, 16.3032647). From there, we’re off to breakfast! Breakfast Details: Anker bakery opposite the U4 Hietzing station and depending on the weather, grab something for a picnic in Schönbrunn park, or hang out in the bakery. If you missed us earlier, you can always go there around 10:45. We are a fun group of runners who don’t take things too seriously. Hi everyone, On **Sunday, May 3rd.**, I are plan a hike in the **Erlaufschlucht** (Erlauf Gorge). This gorge is one of the most impressive gorges in Lower Austria (see a few photos from below). In principle, the path is easy. At the beginning there are stairs (see photo below). Physically, it is an easy hike as there are only a few meters of altitude. In the gorge we will walk very slowly because there is a lot to see and we will take many small breaks. At the end of the gorge we will take a lunch break at about 12 o'clock on the banks of the Erlauf. Then we will visit the freely accessible **Schauboden camp cemetery**, a cemetery of prisoners of war from the Second World War. After we have visited the Türkensturz (a different Türkensturz than on the last hike) we take a second longer lunch break at the Martinskirche at about 2pm. At about 15:30h we will be back at Purgstall/Erlauf trainstation and drive together to Vienna. **Meeting Point & Travel** 📍 **Meeting point:** Wien WESTBAHNHOF at the **ticket machine next to the ÖBB Infopoint** (same level where the trains leave, see photo below). **Anyone who wants to have a group ticket (Einfach-Raus-Ticket) has to be at the meeting point at 7:50am.** People who don't need a group ticket or buy their ticket themselves should be at the meeting point at 8:05am. We will take the 08:18 am train to Pöchlarn train stop and change to a local train to Purgstall/Erlauf train stop. The expected arrival in Purgstall is 10:19h. So be aware, it is a tow hours trip. If the train to the transfer station in Pöchlarn is delayed, then we have to wait about 1 hour for the next connecting train. We could take a short walk in Pöchlarn during this time. The return trip is expected to be at 15:39h. The trains run every hour. * **Distance:** approx. 15 km * **Elevation:** approx. 140 m ascent * **Walking time:** approx. 5 hours 🥪 We don’t plan to stop at huts or restaurants during the hike, so please bring your own snacks and drinks (at least **1.5 liters of water**). 🌧️ Weather can be changeable, so **basic rain protection is recommended**. 🥾 Please wear **sturdy hiking shoes**. Some sections may be muddy, depending on the weather. Please note that **there are no public toilets on the trail itself.** 🧢 Please bring **sun protection** (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses), especially on warm or sunny days.
