🍺 Agentic Coding Meetup — Devs & Drinks
🍺 Agentic Coding Meetup — Devs & Drinks
No slides. No speaker. No agenda. Just developers talking shop over a cold one. This is an informal gathering for engineers, founders, and builders who are deep in the agentic coding trenches — using tools like Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, OpenCode, or rolling their own agent pipelines. Come swap what's actually working, what blew up in production, and what you're excited about right now. We'll be at Barcelona, and the format is simple: show up, grab a drink, and share what you know. Bring a laptop if you want to show something, but it's not required. WhatsApp Group: [https://chat.whatsapp.com/GVS0bHMPIzID3Ch9lt6YsU?mode=gi_t](https://chat.whatsapp.com/GVS0bHMPIzID3Ch9lt6YsU?mode=gi_t) **What we talk about (but not limited to):** \*Agentic coding workflows and tooling * Prompt engineering & context engineering in practice \*Multi-agent architectures and orchestration * AI-native product building \*What's broken in the ecosystem and how you're working around it **Who should come:** Developers, technical founders, and AI engineers who build with (or on top of) LLMs. All levels welcome — senior devs with war stories and curious beginners both make the conversation better. **Format:** Open conversation, round-table style. Everyone teaches, everyone learns.

Meditation in a Conversation - Practice Presence with Yourself & Others
Meditation in a Conversation - Practice Presence with Yourself & Others
**Insight Circling ✨** What if **being with others** could become a path to **deeper connection**, **clarity**, and **inner knowing**? **Insight Circling** is a **relational mindfulness practice** in the form of a conversation. It is an invitation to connect more deeply with yourself and others, and to explore what happens in the present moment as we relate together. We practice noticing, without judgement, what is happening **within us and between us** right now. This may include observing: ✨ Sensations in the body ✨ Emotions as they arise ✨ Thoughts and inner narratives ✨ The subtle dynamics of connection with others By becoming more aware of our present-moment experience, we begin to understand ourselves more fully, lead ourselves more wisely, and cultivate trust in our own inner knowing. **What we’ll do** 🌱 Each session begins with gentle exercises that help us arrive, settle, and connect. Together we gradually develop our capacity to: 🍀 Be present with what is 🍀 Listen deeply to ourselves 🍀 Listen deeply to others 🍀 Speak from authentic experience 🍀 Stay connected in real-time relationship **This practice can support you to 💛** ✨ Connect more deeply with your emotions ✨ Feel more at ease and aligned in body and mind ✨ Receive inspiration and fresh insight ✨ Strengthen intuition and decision-making ✨ Improve relationships and connect more deeply with others ✨ Become unstuck in different areas of life and take meaningful action **Why I love this practice 🌟** I spent many years meditating, but when I discovered this practice it felt like a revelation — a missing piece. It helped me become aware of how I relate to others, how I create my life, and how presence can transform connection. **About the practice 🍀** This practice is inspired by **Circling**. Further information here: **[https://www.transformationalconnection.com/](https://www.transformationalconnection.com/)** Join us on this beautiful journey of discovering ourselves. **Good to know 📍** ✨ No previous experience is necessary ✨ This event will be held in **English** ✨ Offered by **voluntary** **donation** ✨ Places are limited Please RSVP here **and** message me on WhatsApp to confirm your place: 📲 +34 667 840 756 Numbers shown here may not always be accurate, as the event may also be shared elsewhere. The event may be cancelled if fewer than **4 people** are confirmed. **Please read 🙏** We begin on time, and the session builds from the opening practices, so late arrivals won’t be able to join once we’ve started. By signing up, you agree to respect the confidentiality of all participants and not share personal information outside the group. I may occasionally take photos to share here. If you’d prefer not to appear, just let me know beforehand. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. **About me 🌟** I am a qualified **Transformational & Career Coach**, trained in London in 2016. My own journey has included changing both career and country in order to live more in tune with who I truly am. I bring that lived experience into my work. I’m passionate about helping people connect deeply to themselves, uncover their creativity, and bring their gifts into the world through meaningful work. I have practiced meditation for over **20 years**, and spent **5 years** living and helping facilitate a retreat centre on a tiny island in Scotland, established by a Tibetan Buddhist monastery — one of the pioneers of mindfulness in the UK. I believe meditation and mindfulness are powerful tools for gaining clarity, focus, and the space to listen deeply within. They have certainly helped me a great deal. 🌟 **[www.freeyourflow.org](http://www.freeyourflow.org/)**

ENGLISH! WEDNESDAY / The Central House - Philosophy Meetup: 19:30h - 21h
ENGLISH! WEDNESDAY / The Central House - Philosophy Meetup: 19:30h - 21h
Hi and welcome to our next Socrates Café philosophy meetup! Do you have a hunger for deeper understanding of yourself and the world? Do you value deep, honest and respectful dialogue? If yes, then this meetup will be very interesting for you. • WHAT IS A MEETUP ABOUT? At every meetup we have a discussion using Socratic method: [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socratic_method](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socratic_method) We ask, answer and discuss questions and ideas to stimulate critical thinking and to widen our perspectives with new concepts and thoughts. The main purpose of these meetups is to enrich ourselves with the perspectives of others, not to convince others about our own perspectives. Our meetups are about our own philosophies of life and not necessarily what the great philosophers and academics have said or written. It is not a debating club or a platform for proselytizing. Instead, we place the emphasis on questioning, open mindedness and challenging our own assumptions while listening to and respecting the views shared by others. A Socrates Café meetup is considered a success when participants leave a discussion with many more questions than they had at the beginning. • WHAT TOPIC IS DISCUSSED AT THE MEETUP? Participants suggest topics at the beginning of each meeting. We then vote and choose that event's most popular topic for discussion. No academic training in philosophy necessary; just enthusiasm for exchanging ideas and points of view. Some examples of subjects chosen on previous meetups: * What ideals are worth dying for? * Why are we never satisfied? * Why is it that human beings know that the society is going wrong, leaders are well informed about it and things continue as is? * Is identity necessary? * How can it be that people in democratic societies are so obsessed with power? (Desire to be different, better, stronger than others) * What is friendship? • WHO PARTICIPATES AT THIS MEETUP? Anybody is more than welcome to join our meetups. Our events gather people from different backgrounds, different cultures, while no philosophical background is mandatory. Our usual participants are people that have a hunger for deeper understanding of themselves and the world. People that value deep, honest and respectful dialogue. The inspiration for Socrates Cafe originates with the book of the same name, written by the philosopher Christopher Phillips. (Socrates Cafe: A Fresh Taste of Philosophy, 2002). Phillips felt that the Socratic method of dialogue and discussion should be practiced not just in academic settings, but among everyday people interested in examining deep questions together. Hundreds of Socrates Cafe groups now exist around the world. The building address is 4450 Bridge Park The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400 You will need to scan your ID at the door to get a visitor badge. **Abstract** *Customize the IDE: Building Extensions for Visual Studio Code* Visual Studio Code is one of the most widely used development environments today, and much of its flexibility comes from its extension ecosystem. Extensions allow developers to customize the editor with new features, integrations, and workflow improvements tailored to their needs. In this session, we’ll cover what extensions are and the different types available, including full extensions written in TypeScript or JavaScript, along with lighter-weight extensions such as color themes, language packs, language support, code snippets, and keymaps. We’ll also look at practical reasons a developer might create an extension, from automating repetitive tasks to adding custom tooling. The session includes a hands-on walkthrough of creating a new extension, testing it locally, and understanding the basic project structure. We’ll close with a brief overview of how extensions are packaged and published to the Visual Studio Marketplace and other distribution options. **YouTube Link** TBD
