La propuesta de esta actividad es ir a participar en una visita comentada a la exposición *Chez Matisse* que se celebra en CaixaForum. La muestra presenta una amplia selección de obras procedentes en su mayoría del Centro Pompidou de París, donde las piezas de Matisse dialogan con las de otros artistas contemporáneos y pintores a los que el artista influyó. La actividad tiene un costo de 9 euros, que incluyen la entrada de grupo a la exposición y la visita comentada.

Atomica, a Python-based open source simulation engine, addresses this challenge by simplifying the development of epidemiological models. It allows users to create highly configurable data-driven simulations that incorporate disease transmission, intervention strategies and budget constraints. With its user-friendly design and robust capabilities, Atomica allows us to forecast the potential consequences of public health strategies in specific settings. Enter GigaSpatial, an open-source Python library built by UNICEF’s Giga initiative to help connect every school in the world to the internet. In this talk, we will explore the architecture behind GigaSpatial and how it replaces the need to stitch together a dozen different tools to answer a single spatial question. We will dive into how the library orchestrates data collection, transformation, and standardisation pipelines at scale. By leveraging strict configuration validation, object-oriented data connectors, and seamless multi-store management, GigaSpatial provides a unified API to wrangle spatial data. Customer identity resolution becomes increasingly complex as organizations scale across multiple systems, regions, and data formats. Traditional rule-based approaches often fail to keep up with data variability, require constant manual tuning, and struggle with real-time processing needs. This session presents a practical approach to building a scalable identity resolution pipeline using AWS services and modern AI techniques. The architecture combines data ingestion through Amazon S3 and AWS Glue, transformation pipelines using Spark on EMR, and machine learning models deployed via SageMaker for entity matching and standardization. Graph-based relationship modeling is implemented using Amazon Neptune to improve resolution accuracy by incorporating household and shared attribute context. We will walk through how machine learning models can be used for name and address normalization, how intelligent blocking strategies improve matching efficiency, and how feedback loops can be introduced to continuously improve accuracy.
