**Please update your attendance if you can not join as this game as we need to know the exact number of players.** We'll be playing the Sects & Violets script, which is recommended for players who already played a few games. I'm not experienced with storytelling this script so bear with me!

**What to expect** An evening for neurodiverse adults (18+) to come together, share experiences, and make new friends. The evening will be semi-structured, running from 7pm to 9pm. Once everyone has arrived we will do a quick icebreaker activity to get to know each other. Next, participants will be split up into small discussion groups of 4 or 5 people spread out around the space. Everyone will get a conversation card with a thought-provoking question related to their neurodivergent experience. For example, ‘What is one example of some life advice that has really helped you?’, ‘In what contexts do you feel like you can be your neurodivergent self fully without having to mask?’, and ‘what similarities and differences do you see between yourself and other neurodivergent people?’ These questions are meant to start a conversation, but you are free to let the discussion evolve naturally in any direction! After 20-30 minutes you’ll be allocated to a different discussion group with entirely new people and new conversation starters. The remaining portion of the evening will allow you to mill around the room to talk to anyone you wish about anything you wish to talk about. You can also play a board game if you like. We have the space until 21:30. **For Who?** Neurodiverse adults (18+) A formal diagnosis is not necessary. This event is open to anyone who can relate to the difficulties and experiences of being neurodivergent, or is trying to figure things out. Neurodivergence includes but is not limited to autism, ADHD, HS, OCD, BPD etc. **When?** First and third Fridays of the month, with the exception of school and normal holidays. If you're new and none of these titles mean anything to you, don't worry! These games are pretty easy to pick up as you play. It helps us anticipate how many people are coming and consequently how many games we'll need. "Can I just join you in playing games?" Yes, absolutely. "Is there a fee?" No, it's free to join and play. However, please get at least one drink from the bar, as the hostel provides this space to us for free with the expectation that people buy drinks from them. "What kind of games do you play?
" Most games in our collection are light to medium-ish in complexity, fairly short, and pretty easy to pick up once you know the rules. We don’t tend to play heavy eurogames or wargames as they take up too much time and often require an explanation of an hour or more. We also don’t tend to play party games. "Do the games belong to the hostel?" 
Nope! All of the games present are owned by members who bring games along from their own private collections. Please be sure to treat every game with care and respect. "How do I know which games you're going to play and which I can join?" We'll usually loosely mill around and decide on games on the moment, depending on who takes the initiative, so it really depends on what's available to us and who wants to play which game. Generally, we'll split up in groups, play a game or two, reconvene, and split up in different groups to play a different game. "Do I have to have experience in playing games?" No, usually we'll play some pretty easy-to-learn games that you'll get the hang of in no time. And should you get a taste for slightly more complex games, we have those too! "Can I bring a game of my own?" Yes, absolutely. Just maybe don't bring games that are too complex and might take more than 1 hour to play. Also, don't bring Cards Against Humanity. "Should I bring snacks for everybody?" No, but thank you for offering! "Can I bring snacks and drinks for myself?" You can bring your own food into the hostel but, as mentioned, they do expect us to buy our drinks at the bar. Also, they appreciate it if we clean up after ourselves, i.e. bring back empty glasses and bottles to the bar, put back chairs in their place, throw away trash, etc... "Do I have to speak English?" We prefer it if you could because not everyone in the group speaks Dutch fluently but we're pretty relaxed about it so don't worry too much if you're not that confident in your English speaking skills. This means that, even if you're driving a non-EV, you can park in the EV spots near the brewery. **Games** I do bring many games, but please bring some of your own as well.

CABS Friday of our 1st Quarter Double Header 2/20 (We do one double header a quarter)

The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area. Parking can be challenging. There is a parking lot behind the neighboring Mexican restaurant that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.
