Doch was passiert, wenn diese Systeme plötzlich nicht mehr Tausende, sondern Millionen von Requests bedienen oder Terabytes an Daten verarbeiten müssen? In der Praxis zeigt sich häufig: Klassische Optimierungen wie Caching, horizontale Skalierung oder effizientere Algorithmen stoßen irgendwann an ihre Grenzen, weil sie innerhalb desselben Paradigmas bleiben.
