Embodied Emotions
Embodied Emotions
# Integral self-awareness workshops in Budapest Do you ever react more strongly than the moment seems to call for? Do you ever wonder why the people you love most can trigger the biggest reactions? Do you ever say something in the heat of the moment and later wish you had responded differently? Do you ever notice how quickly closeness can turn into tension, defensiveness, or withdrawal? Do you ever get overwhelmed by a tone of voice, a look, or a silence you can’t quite explain? Do you ever feel your body respond before your mind understands what is happening? The integral self-awareness group is a safe and accepting space where you can observe your inner processes and how you relate to others. You can gain insight into recurring patterns and experiment with more conscious, new ways of functioning. The group supports you in letting go of your defensive layers and connecting to yourself and others without judgment. This offers a deeply nourishing experience of acceptance, while also helping you become aware of inner processes that often remain hidden in everyday life. The focus is on experiencing bodily sensations and emotions, often beyond words. The practices are mostly movement-based and require no prior experience. The method is based on integral psychology, associated with Ken Wilber, combining Western psychology with Eastern perspectives to support personal growth and a more loving, present way of being. Join us if, alongside the flow of everyday life, you’d like to connect more deeply with yourself – both your light, vibrant parts and your more shadowed aspects. We work together in a closed, small group over four sessions, in a safe and supportive environment. **Who is this for?** This group is ideal if you haven’t yet participated in a self-awareness process – especially a movement-based one – and would like to try it. You’re also very welcome if you already have experience but are currently looking for a shorter commitment. **What is it about?** We all carry an inner child within us that shapes how we see the world and ourselves. It holds both our resources – spontaneity, curiosity, joy – and the deeper patterns formed through early experiences. This group helps you recognize and reconnect with these parts. **What will you gain?** ‱ A connection with your inner child ‱ Deeper self-connection and emotional awareness ‱ Greater freedom in experiencing your feelings ‱ Acceptance: the experience of being who you are ‱ Insights and experiences that integrate into daily life ‱ A taste of integral self-awareness work The sessions build on each other. At the end of the first session, we ask for your commitment to the full process. **Application** Joining the group is preceded by a short conversation where we get to know each other and decide together whether to work together. If the decision is mutual, your place can be secured with a payment of 7500 HUF, which will be applied to the fee of the final session. The remaining session fees are paid per occasion. Registration here: [https://forms.gle/9zeRqwDq25Nib6JC8](https://forms.gle/9zeRqwDq25Nib6JC8) The events will take place with a minimum of 5 participants.

Google Cloud Budapest Meetup: AI-Native Engineering vs. Core Fundamentals
Google Cloud Budapest Meetup: AI-Native Engineering vs. Core Fundamentals
Google Cloud Budapest Meetup is back! Join us on June 17th at the Aliz office in Budapest for an evening of deep-tech insights, practical engineering strategies, and networking with fellow Google Cloud and AI enthusiasts. As AI tools reshape the development landscape, the definition of a "good engineer" is shifting. This meetup isn't about generic AI prompts - it's about the concrete skills and old-school engineering discipline required to build reliable, scalable, AI-native applications. đŸŽ« The event is free, but seats are limited. **Save yours now! 👇** ⌛ Register here: [https://www.aliz.ai/en/event/google-cloud-budapest-meetup-2026](https://www.aliz.ai/en/event/google-cloud-budapest-meetup-2026) ================= **Talk 1** **Becoming a Context Engineering Professional in Your Domain** by TamĂĄs Imets (AI Solution Architect), Aliz The most underrated skill in the AI era: context engineering. How to structure prompts, design context windows, and become a force multiplier in your technical domain. Practical patterns from the field that turn good engineers into AI-native practitioners. **Talk 2** **The Revenge of the Fundamentals: old-school ideas winning in the AI era** by MĂĄtĂ© CzĂ©kus (Lead Architect) and Aamna Tayyab (Head of Delivery), Adroit Group The core argument: LLMs accelerate code generation are non-deterministic and inconsistent by default, which makes foundational engineering practices and tooling more important then ever. Teams that skipped the fundamentals, or was still hand rolling checks when AI arrived are paying for it at integration boundaries — it'll be way more harder to guide agent to write compliant and consistent code, and even harder to review the huge amount that was generated. Three fundamental tools doing more work than they get credit for: * JSON Schema — enforcing the contract between modules * TDD — writing the tests before the code * Linters and formatters — static governance that guides the shapeand correctness what the model sometimes misses even with context MĂĄtĂ© brings a live demo: one real multi-cloud cost explorer example showing what AI tooling produces by default vs the disciplined version side by side. ================= 📣 Meet the speakers **TamĂĄs Imets** An **AI Solution Architect** at **Aliz** who has been tinkering with tech since age 13 - moving from taking apart toys for robots to founding an AI startup where he led product and engineering. When he’s not building AI-native systems, you’ll find him backpacking through East Asian megacities, playing squash, or experimenting with new musical instruments. **MĂĄtĂ© CzĂ©kus** He is a **software engineer** at **Adroit Group** who spends his days planning, testing, and refactoring systems while exploring the latest technologies. A passionate specialty coffee enthusiast and functional programming nerd, he believes that if you can build something, you should also be able to deploy and maintain it. **Aamna Tayyab** As **Head of Delivery** at **Adroit Group**, Aamna works at the intersection of product and engineering analyzing requirements, shaping architecture, and turning ambiguous ideas into work teams can actually deliver. Alongside her job, she co-organizes GDG Budapest and stays active in the Google developer community. ================= ☁ Exclusive Google Cloud meetup in Budapest. 🍕 Cool presentations from experts and a networking opportunity - drink and snacks are on us. đŸŽïž Free guarded parking. đŸ¶ Dog-friendly venue. ⌚ Arrival from 18:30, presentation starts at 19:00. đŸŽ« Free, limited seats event, ensure yours by registering: https://www.aliz.ai/en/event/google-cloud-budapest-meetup-2026

Virtual Cells at ICLR'26 Conference
==DATE CHANGED== May 27th's event is re-scheduled --> to Jun 17. This month's meetup discusses 3 papers from the ICLR 2026 conference held in April. This won't be as much of a deep dive into one paper, but I'd like to give an overview / some intuition on latest modeling approaches in cell modeling & AI in biology. 1 - [scDFM](https://arxiv.org/abs/2602.07103) \- a **flow matching** model predicting cell transitions in the transcriptomics space as a result of applying perturbations 2 - [TxFM](https://openreview.net/pdf?id=NqZqClqtTK) - **a masked autoencoder style foundation model** trained on a well-curated transcriptomics dataset. Authors demonstrate: how important data quality is in biological models, outweighing sheer scale. 3 - [VCWorld](https://arxiv.org/abs/2512.00306) \- a **world model** approach for virtual cell simulation. A **white-box, cell simulator** approach that **combines structured biological knowledge with LLMs** === ENTRY DETAILS === \- QR code with entry information will be available soon\, in the "Photos" section of this event page\. \- Gate closes at 18:15 \- no late entries\.

Feeling down? Sometimes depressed? Can't focus? Negativity & stress? Recent losses? Creativity in career and personal life hindered by mental blocks? Sometimes we never fully recover from traumatic experiences. Whether it was yesterday, last week or a year ago, traumatic experiences - a loss of a loved one, losing a job, a breakup - can leave you scarred. You talk about it and feel a little better, but it never goes away. After you hang up the phone, it's still there; the sadness, the cloud, the over-thinking, the worry, the guilt. You try to focus, but you're blocked. You try to look forward into new experiences, new relationships but a cloud is hanging over you, casting a shadow on what you once considered a bright, cheerful future. What happened to your courage? Your strength of character? You're 'why not' attitude? Whoever said 'time heals' must have had a special time machine, because after weeks, months, years, you're wondering - when exactly does that kick in? Sometimes it seems like drinking or drugs are the way to go. But they wear off, and now the problem is still there with added side effects from the drugs. At this free local Meetup event we will talk about: * What causes grief, anxiety and depression to become chronic. * Is it possible to regain your joy and happiness even after traumatic experiences? * How to break away from negativity and focus on the future * What are the steps to take to get control of your mind and your emotions? Learn about a safe, gentle, do-it-yourself counseling that can be done in the comfort of your own home. Let's explore safe, effective solutions for healing from traumatic experiences. Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to the event. We look forward to seeing you there. This group is sponsored by the Dianetics & Scientology Life Improvement Center.

Want to Truly Heal from Emotional Trauma?
Want to Truly Heal from Emotional Trauma?
Why are we unhappy? Where does emotional pain come from? Studies show that people who suffer from long-term emotional pain have painful experiences in their lives that were never fully resolved in their mind. In other words, there were issues in the past that were not completely dealt with. This can include abuse in childhood, breakups, divorce, death of a loved one, to name a few. How do you know whether you have gotten over something painful? Here is an easy test: Do you still have attention on what had happened to you? For instance, do you still find yourself thinking about something painful that you went through? If you are, then you are not over it. In fact, in severe cases, people find themselves playing a "tape" in their mind over and over again. So how do you heal from your past? How do you stop the "tape" playing in your mind? In this meeting, you will learn a technique to help you with that. Come join us! Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there. This group is created by the Dianetics and Scientology life improvement center.
Battle of the personal agents
Battle of the personal agents
Join the Columbus AI community for a special event. **Battle of the Personal Agents** is your chance to see what people are actually building with AI agents and personal automation systems. Whether you’re running OpenClaw, Hermes, or a completely custom solution, bring your agent and show the community how it works. We’re interested in real-world implementations: the problems your agent solves, how you use it day-to-day, how it’s hosted and managed, how you built it, and why you’ve chosen to keep using it. Live demonstrations are encouraged, so be prepared to show your code, architecture, workflows, and your agent performing real tasks. This is less about polished presentations and more about sharing practical experience, comparing approaches, and learning from one another. If you’d like to present, please contact Chris Slee (via meetup) before the event so we can allocate enough time for everyone’s demonstrations. Come ready to show what you’ve built, discover what others are doing, and maybe find a few ideas worth taking home. Whether you’re deep in the field or just getting curious, come connect with others building and exploring AI in Columbus. Since then, we’ve built a suite of AI‑driven solutions that transform this data into real, measurable outcomes—accelerating benefits decisions for our Nation’s Veterans. Join us for a focused conversation on how an outcome‑driven approach to AI is helping us boost accuracy, streamline workflows, and deliver faster results for those who have served.
