Sunday Electronics Workshop
This workshop series is a **follow-up to the ESP32 Robotics workshop**, but with a different concept. Here, there will be no subject set in advance, instead **all participants are welcome to join at any point and at any level, from beginner to expert**. Beginners will be guided though the basics (C programming, how to use measurement tools, soldering, PCB design, etc…) and can get advice on what tools and kits to start with, others can come with their own projects to get help or share some knowledge.
## Requirements
* Bring your own laptop (Windows, Linux or Mac)
* Any microcontroller/dev kit to develop your project(s). If you are a beginner and don’t know what to buy, come and we’ll find the best starter kit for you !
* A strong desire to learn stuff, good mood and some patience !
Sunday Pool Evening + Language Exchange +Pizza
A relaxed pool night and language exchange for curious, open-minded people in Brussels. Pool, drinks, and real conversation without the fake networking vibe.
This is **not** a tournament and not a “watch one guy run the table” event. We rotate games, mix people, and keep it social.
Use our whatsapp Chat also to RSVP and updates!
https://chat.whatsapp.com/F2hTxZ4TT3hHICiihX1Efy
### **What to expect**
* Casual pool
* Rotations so everyone plays
* **Language exchange**: EN/FR/NL/ES/IT (and whatever else shows up)
Switch languages anytime, no pressure
### **Food**
The venue is right next to **Dea’s Pizza**. During the night, feel free to grab a takeaway pizza and **eat it at Taverne Magnolia**.
### **Cost**
* Everyone pays their own drinks and table time
* If we share tables, we split costs fairly (1 game 1 Euro)
### **Safety and respect policy (non-negotiable)**
We’ve had reports of creeps at other Brussels meetups bothering women. That does not happen at our events.
* The host will actively keep an eye on the vibe, especially **women’s comfort and safety**
* **No harassment, no sexual comments, no persistent flirting after a “no,” no invasive questions, no following people around**
* If someone feels unsafe or uncomfortable, go to the host directly. The host will intervene.
### **Meet point**
Meet inside near the pool tables at **Taverne Magnolia**. If you’re late, post in the event chat so rotations don’t start without you.

This is a beginner‑friendly workshop, open to everyone. Each Sunday we explore a different craft, so there’s always something new to try.
📍 **Location:** MIR Concept Coffee Store

🎨 **Beginner‑friendly (no experience needed**)
💶 **€5 per person** (covers materials + Meetup page)
Garden BBQ and Chat (Italiano, Japanese, Thai, French, English, Español)🍖🔥
Spring is doing its yearly cameo in Brussels, so we’re stealing the good weather for a **small garden BBQ**: grill smoke, laughs, new friends, and language switching mid-sentence like civilized chaos.
We’ll mostly keep the conversations centered on food: what you brought, how it’s cooked back home, weird national traditions, and the kind of basic “nice to meet you” talk that works in any language. The goal is easy language practice, meeting new people, and having a good time. Jokes and funny trivia are welcome, as long as you can behave like an adult.
This is a **bring & share** setup: you show up with something tasty, you leave with new words, new people, and probably the strong opinion that your country does BBQ better (you’re welcome to defend that position).
### **The vibe**
* Backyard BBQ, relaxed and social
* Language exchange baked into the night (talk, eat, switch languages, repeat)
* Cultural food is strongly encouraged: bring your “this is what we eat at home” item
### **Languages**
Host is fluent in **English, Italian, French, Spanish**, and has basics of **Russian, Croatian, Serbian, Japanese**. If you speak anything else, bring it. We collect languages like Pokémon.
### **What to bring (Bring & Share)**
* Food + drinks for you **AND** something to share
* Bonus points for something from your culture
* If you’re bringing veggie stuff, make it something people actually want to eat.
### **If you don’t want to bring food**
Message the host in WhatsApp. You can pay a **small fee** instead and still eat like a functional adult.
### **Contribution**
**€2 per person** to cover wood/charcoal. Yes, even in 2026 humans still pay for fire.
### **Location (shared privately)**
The address is shared **only** with confirmed RSVPs who:
1. Join the CLUB WhatsApp chat
2. Send a quick intro: first name + languages + what you’re into
WhatsApp link: https://chat.whatsapp.com/F2hTxZ4TT3hHICiihX1Efy
### **Rules (because humans)**
* **Not a dating meetup.**
* This is not an “NPC meetup” where everyone tiptoes around like they’re negotiating a hostage release. People can talk freely and share opinions. **No censorship, no tone-policing, no drama farming.**
* **No creeps. No harassment. No pushing after a “no.” No weird DMs.**
* Respect the host’s home, neighbors, and the group.
* If you act shady, you’re out. Simple.

20k of Brussels Prep Run #1 (15k)
Hi Runners,
It’s that time of year again! The 20k of Brussels is on the horizon, and there’s no better way to prepare than by hitting the actual course.
We are excited to announce our first official preview run of the season. This 15k session is designed to be a "steady and social" effort, allowing us to cover a significant portion of the route while keeping the atmosphere friendly and inclusive, we will hit the infamous Tervuren Avenue incline!!
The Details:
Meeting Point: Right in front of Cafe To Meli (close to Rond-point Schuman).
Sunday, February 22nd at 09:30 AM.
Logistics: A bag/jacket drop is available at the cafe, so you can run light and have dry clothes ready for afterward.
After-Run: We’ll be grabbing a "cuppa" at the cafe post-run to warm up and chat strategy.
This is a great chance to build your base mileage and meet fellow runners before the big day. No need to stress the pace—we're sticking to a comfortable 6:00-6:15 min/km.
See you at Schuman!
Best, The Brussels Runners Team

Pranic Healing Level I - PH I--- DAY 2 of 2
MCKS PRANIC HEALING® Level I
In PRANIC HEALING® Level 1, you learn the basics of working with your energy aura, including learning to "scan," or feel the energy, to "sweep," or clean away congested energy, and to "energize," or supplement areas in your aura that have a pranic deficiency.
PRANIC HEALING® has been taught to doctors, nurses, massage
therapists, acupuncturists, chiropractors, shiatsu practitioners, and many others in the healing field. It has allowed them to heal confidently and consistently in the shortest learning time possible. These professionals find PRANIC HEALING® very effective and easy to apply.
Other topics covered in PRANIC HEALING® Level 1:
Energetic anatomy: You will learn to work with the network of chakras, meridians and auras to accelerate the healing processes of your body.
Preventive healing: You will learn to remove the negative energetic patterns of a disease to prevent it from fully manifesting as a physical ailment.
Self-Pranic healing: You will learn to apply these healing techniques to accelerate your own healing.
Step-by-step techniques for ailments related to your:
respiratory system, e.g., asthma,; circulatory system, e.g., heart ailments; gastrointestinal system, e.g., irritable bowel syndrome; musculoskeletal system, e.g., arthritis and back pain; reproductive system, e.g., menstrual problems. Additionally, you'll learn to apply distant healing to loved ones who are not present in the room with you.
All PRANIC HEALING® courses are "experiential," which means that you learn by actually performing the techniques and exercises in class - on yourself and those around you. During class, all the principles will be explained thoroughly and you will practice the techniques exhaustively so you will be confident in your ability to produce positive results when you finish the course.
This is Day 2 of 2 Attendance at day one is required to attend day 2.

Spec-Driven Development with GitHub Spec-Kit - Barret Blake

**Abstract**
*Spec-Driven Development with GitHub Spec-Kit: From Intent to Implementation*
Spec-driven development flips the traditional workflow on its head: instead of code being the source of truth, the specification becomes the backbone of design, collaboration, and delivery. In this session, we’ll explore how GitHub Spec-Kit enables teams to treat specifications as first-class artifacts—living documents that drive architecture, implementation, and verification.
You’ll learn how Spec-Kit helps teams clearly express intent using structured, version-controlled specs that live alongside code. We’ll walk through a practical workflow that starts with defining system behavior and constraints, then progressively refines those specs into testable, automatable outcomes. Along the way, we’ll show how specs can reduce ambiguity, improve cross-functional collaboration, and make design decisions explicit before a single line of production code is written.
This talk will cover:
--What spec-driven development is (and what it isn’t)
--How GitHub Spec-Kit fits into modern developer workflows
--Using specs to align product, engineering, and AI-assisted development
--Real-world examples of turning specs into implementations with confidence
Whether you’re building greenfield systems, integrating AI into your stack, or trying to reduce costly rework, spec-driven development offers a scalable way to move faster without sacrificing clarity. Attendees will leave with concrete patterns and a clear mental model for adopting GitHub Spec-Kit in their own projects.

In-Person Event: The Answers to Depression & Anxiety
This is an in-person meeting. At this meeting you will get answers to depression and anxiety. Find out the source of them and how to get rid of them.
Did you know that unwanted emotions like anxiety, depression, unhappiness, loneliness, hopelessness, anger, fear, or feelings of irritation don’t just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not due to a chemical imbalance in your brain from some nebulous chemical reaction "by chance".
Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you.
The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.
This group is created by the Hubbard Dianetics Foundation of Central Ohio and Church of Scientology of Central Ohio.
