💘 The Post‑Valentine’s “Last‑Minute Love Grab” Party - Lustre Bar - Fri 20 💕
💘 The Post‑Valentine’s “Last‑Minute Love Grab” Party - Lustre Bar - Fri 20 💕
**💘 Eat, Drink & Dance Melbourne: The Pre‑Valentine’s “Last‑Minute Love Grab” Party** 💘 Friday 20 February 7:00pm – 10:30pm Lustre Bar, Flinders Lane **##### !! Update - Moved to Fri 20 Feb** Melbourne, assemble your charm, your courage, and your most persuasive eyebrow raise — because Valentine’s Day has come and gone, and this is your final chance to secure a date before the city descends into roses, prix‑fixe menus, and smug couples holding hands like they invented affection. Join us at Lustre Bar, where the cocktails sparkle, the lighting forgives, and the mood is set firmly to romantic chaos. This is a night for the bold, the hopeful, the delightfully unhinged, and anyone who refuses to spend Saturday eating supermarket chocolate and tubs of ice cream like a lonely Chewbacca on the couch (again). **⚠Expect**: * Flirty icebreakers that make “So what do you do?” feel like a relic of a more boring civilisation * Silly mini‑games designed to nudge strangers into becoming “entangled parties of interest” * A soundtrack calibrated for maximum swoon‑potential * A room full of people who are also pretending they’re “just here for fun” By 10pm, those who have successfully paired, tangled, or otherwise conspired with another human will be invited to continue the adventure as we spill into a dance venue of our choosing. Think of it as the Valentine’s Migration: a flock of seagulls abd romantically‑charged humans moving gracefully (or not) toward a dance floor where destiny, chemistry, and questionable rhythm await. Whether you leave with a Valentine, a new crush, or simply a great story, you’ll be in excellent company. **Dress code**: Cute, confident, or chaotically optimistic. **Vibe**: Romantic comedy meets mild social experiment. **Goal**: Snatch a Valentine before the clock strikes midnight on Cupid’s deadline. Come for the cocktails. Stay for the chemistry. Dance for the glory.

Please ensure you meet the fitness level for the event. If the group is forced to wait excessively, you may be asked to leave the event. **â›č Pace: Too Fast or Too Slow** Small social events rely on staying together. If you prefer a very different pace, consider going solo, joining a faster/slower group, or choosing events that match your fitness. **đŸ‘©â€đŸ’Œ Time Constraints** If you’re on a tight schedule, this may not be the right event. Social activities rarely run exactly on time. **⚠ CRITICAL EXPECTATIONS ⚠** **đŸ‘» No‑Shows** No‑shows block waitlisted people from attending and disrupt small-group events. - Remove yourself at least 24 hours before the event. - No‑shows will likely be removed and blocked from the group. - Last‑minute cancellations **(“flaking”)** may also result in group removal, especially when there is a waitlist. **👀 Attending Without Being on the Going List** This is a security issue. **Do NOT turn up unannounced**. If you’re not on the Going list and haven’t arranged it with the organiser beforehand, you will be asked to leave. Event check‑ins are performed. **⏰ Late Arrivals** If you’re late, the group will not wait. - You may be marked as a No‑Show and removed from the group. - It’s your responsibility to communicate and catch up—this may not be possible for some events. **đŸŽČ Second Chances** If something goes wrong, communicate with the organiser. Silence + poor behaviour = removal. Communication + accountability = second chances. As the organiser is busy organising this may be impossible during the event. **đŸš©Disclaimer: No Liability & Organiser Indemnity By participating in this event, you acknowledge and accept full personal responsibility for your own safety, wellbeing, and belongings. The organiser assumes no liability for injury, loss, or damage incurred during the activity. Participation is entirely at your own risk.**

Find Your (Business) Tribe
Find Your (Business) Tribe
**Find Your (Business) Tribe** *Because no great business is built alone.* They say, *“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”* And in business, this couldn’t be more true. Whether you’re just starting out, growing something exciting, or dreaming up your next big move, this event is about finding the right people to walk alongside you. Think of it as a curated networking night for entrepreneurs, creatives, and business-minded doers who are looking for more than surface-level connections. Maybe you need a co-founder. A photographer. A mentor. A tech-savvy mate. An accountability partner. Or simply a community of like-minded humans who *get it*. Whatever you’re building, this night is about helping you find your *people*. Your collaborators, supporters, and sounding boards, the ones who help you stay grounded *and* move forward. Expect meaningful conversations, interactive connection activities, and a space where you don’t have to “pitch” yourself, just show up authentically. Because business gets a whole lot better when you’re surrounded by the right energy. So, bring your ideas, your questions, and your dreams. You never know who you’ll meet. **Your ticket will cover a basic beer, wine, spirit or soft drink on arrival.** Remainder of your ticket will be split to cover costs of running FYT and also charity donation to Sisterworks. Tickets are required to attend this event. Please note: This is not an event for selling, for business cards, or recruitment for direct sales or MLM models. This is an event for genuine connections, friendships, collabs, business partners, business networking, when equally reciprocated on both sides!

Celebrate National Chip and Dip Day!
***Okay, call me crazy but you have got to try their chip n dip!*** Club 85 is a true hidden gem in German Village! Seriously, old school, good comfort food and drink. We will try to gather in spaces near the windows. While we'll share Chip n Dip, you'll want to order a sandwich, too. **Where the Chip Began (1817)** Potato chips can be traced back to an English chef, William Kitchiner, who includes ‘crisps’ in his bestselling cookbook, “The Cook’s Oracle.” **Chip and Dip Popularity** The popularity of chip and dip skyrockets at the end of World War II with new entertainment fads and the introduction of Lipton’s new advertising campaign for their famous French Onion Dip. (Club 185 doesn't openly admit it, but I'm pretty sure that's their dip recipe!) **[Club 185](http://club185.com/)**—a true neighborhood bar serving since 1954, when it was known as a local 'speak-easy'. Located in German Village, Club 185 features a menu of quality casual comfort food and full bar. Two other choices, metered parking along Livingston heading towards Children's Hospital or across the street in the large church lot (park in spaces farthest away from the church entrance doors, closer to the street). **PRE-EVENT**: **HAPPY HOUR (3-5pm)**: Italian drinks and bites at [Cento's happy hour](https://centogermanvillage.com/menus/), nearby.
