During our events, people have had so much fun that they stayed behind after the event to have dinner/drinks with several of the attendees as a group! This singles speed mixer will combine the elements of speed dating and also a social mixer. Bring your business cards as this is also an opportunity for networking and meeting new friends. We will start with free time for mingling followed by a few rounds of a group icebreaker activity and games. Attendees will then have a few rounds of 7 minutes to chat with anyone of their choice and at the sound of the bell will select another person to chat with. It is better than speed dating as you are not obligated to sit and speak with all attendees! No need to be nervous, just remember that everyone is in the same boat. All you have to do is show up and just start talking to anyone even someone of the same gender! Come with an open mind and positive outlook as you never know who you may meet and where it may go.
