Is Your Property Portfolio Helping You Build Wealth or Quietly Holding You Back?
Is Your Property Portfolio Helping You Build Wealth or Quietly Holding You Back?
Dear property investor, **Note: please [register](https://events.resultsmentoring.com/escape.html?utm_source=meetup&utm_campaign=drn) to attend the workshop via Zoom.** This is a free webinar for property investors who want to assess whether their current portfolio is truly helping them build wealth, income and freedom — or quietly holding them back. **You may already have a property portfolio ...** But here's the bigger question: *Is it actually set up to deliver the result you want?* With interest rates elevated, borrowing power tighter, cash flow under pressure and uncertainty around the economy and policy settings, many investors are starting to realise that owning property is not the same as building the right portfolio. In this practical webinar, our sponsors, property mentors Simon Buckingham and Brendan Kelly from Results Mentoring will show you how to pressure-test your current portfolio so you can assess whether it is still fit for purpose in today’s environment. **You'll learn:** ✅ how to tell whether a property is helping or hurting your long-term goals ✅ warning signs your portfolio may be underperforming, even if it looks fine on paper ✅ how to think more clearly about hold vs sell decisions ✅ why many investors get stuck with a portfolio that limits their progress ✅ what to focus on next if you want stronger growth, better cash flow and more flexibility This is not about hype, fear or guesswork. It is about giving you a more objective framework for assessing your current portfolio and your next move. **[Register here](https://events.resultsmentoring.com/escape.html?utm_source=meetup&utm_campaign=drn)** Best regards, – Tony

April Book Club - Churros in the burbs
April Book Club - Churros in the burbs
Come meet us in the burbs in April! For those of you who may be joining us for the first time, we have no set reading list, "homework" or assigned book. We want to hear about what you like to read! Come along and **tell us about up to four** of your recently read and/or to be read books and hear about what we're all reading too! Whilst we encourage all readers, given the nature of the discussions that we have our meetups aren't suitable for children under the age of 14. **Please note that as advised in our email and post of November 14th 2024 our fees have increased from $5.00 to $6.50 per person per meetup. This is due to [Meetup.com](http://meetup.com/) doubling the organiser fees for meetup groups. We now pay at least $50 a month to have a Meetup site (unfortunately this cost fluctuates due to Meetup charging us in USD). All fees go towards paying the meetup fees. This can only be accepted via the Meetup site and we do not accept cash on the day.** Similarly, if you are planning to attend, please RSVP on the Meetup site. RSVPs can be made right up until the moment the event starts, we are unable to accept cash on the day or attendances from those who have not RSVPd as we need to plan for attendance numbers and space. We also ask that you purchase something from San Churro on the day as we are taking up their space. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you've got any questions. Happy reading and see you then!

April Book Club Meetup
April Book Club Meetup
Welcome, readers! Our April read is **_Martyr!_ by Kaveh Akbar.** The story follows a young Iranian American poet grappling with grief, addiction, and the aching question of what makes a life meaningful. Drawn into an unexpected friendship with a terminally ill artist, he begins to confront faith, love, and the seduction of self-destruction. Lyrical, darkly funny, and emotionally piercing, the novel wrestles with beauty and despair in equal measure. It’s a story about longing—to be seen, to be forgiven, and to matter. Looking forward to discussing with everyone! We will meet at Zaftig Brewing Co in their event room in the back. We are welcome to bring in our own food, but **drinks must be purchased at the bar.** Happy reading! 📖

How to Structure Real Estate Deals Using Seller Finance and Notes
How to Structure Real Estate Deals Using Seller Finance and Notes
Learn how seller finance and notes can create cash flow and new deal opportunities with 40-year investor Eddie Speed **FREE TICKET** 🎟️ https://www.eventbrite.com/e/how-to-structure-real-estate-deals-using-seller-finance-and-notes-tickets-1984826171509?aff=cicmeetupapp Most real estate investors only know one way to make money: Buy the property. Fix the property. Rent it or sell it. But there’s another side of real estate that can create cash flow, flexibility, and opportunity without only focusing on owning more property. At this month’s Columbus Investors Club, Tiffany and Josh High are sitting down with Eddie Speed - a real estate veteran with 40 years of experience who has closed more than 50,000 note deals. He has spent decades helping investors understand how to structure deals through seller finance and notes, and how to think more like the bank instead of just the buyer. This will be a practical conversation around a part of real estate most people have heard about, but very few truly understand. If you’ve ever wanted to know how to create more opportunities in deals, generate cash flow in a different way, or understand how seller finance actually works in the real world, this is a night you want to be in the room for. You’ll walk away thinking about deals differently, seeing new possibilities, and understanding how creative structuring can open doors that traditional investing alone can’t. **What You’ll Learn** * How seller finance works in real estate deals * How notes fit into real estate and create opportunity * How to structure deals more creatively * How investors generate cash flow by focusing on the payment * How to think like the bank instead of only focusing on owning the property * How this strategy can create flexibility in today’s market **Open Q&A - Ask Eddie Anything About** * Seller finance and how to use it in real deals * How notes work in a practical, beginner-friendly way * Creating cash flow without only relying on rentals * Structuring deals that others might miss * How experienced investors think differently about financing * Common mistakes investors make when they only focus on the property **Why You Should Be in the Room** Because the investors who win in the long run know how to do more than just buy houses. They know how to structure. They know how to create terms. They know how to see opportunities other people miss. This is the kind of conversation that can expand the way you think about real estate entirely. Come ready to learn, ask questions, take notes, and connect with people who are serious about growing in this business. **Reserve your free seat now - and be part of the conversation.** Grab your spot here ➡️ https://www.eventbrite.com/e/how-to-structure-real-estate-deals-using-seller-finance-and-notes-tickets-1984826171509?aff=cicmeetupapp
