Welcome to Board In The West! We are so excited to be offering a space for all the game loving nerds in the west to come together and have some good natured, healthy competitive fun through the medium of board games. We look forward to seeing as many of you at our game nights as possible. The game nights are be held on the 1st Friday of each month. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact admin, we are always happy to help! **What do we play** We bring a selection of about 30 – 40 Games with us to each event and encourage participants to bring their own games with them also. **Food & Drinks** We have a small selection of snacks and drinks available for $1 or less, but if you want something a little more substantial, you are welcome to bring your own snacks or there are lots of eateries very close by in the area. **Do I have to be a Melbourne Meeples Inc. Member to attend?** No, though if you are not a member, we do ask that you pay a small donation ($5 for adults, kids free) to help cover the cost of the games library and the administration of the club. Address: 1-21 Cheetham Street, Point Cook, VIC 3030 * **By Car:** If you’re driving there is street parking. * **By Bus:** Point Cook Community Learning Centre is easily accessible by two different bus lines – 495 (Bus Stop on Boardwalk Blvd 350m away) & 498 (Bus Stop on Dunnings Rd 500m away) * **By Train:** Williams Landing Railway Station is 2.2km (27 minutes walk or Bus services) from the Centre.

This match is strictly for 18 years and older players at the Advanced level. Please register to play so everyone knows the approximate numbers. Join us for a relaxing time of folding together at the Realm library in Ringwood! We'll be in Meeting Room 3 on Level 2. Bring a fun origami project to fold and share, all while chatting and meeting other origami enthusiasts! Standard origami paper will be provided. We just ask for a gold coin to help with group expenses.

There will be a range of games available, from beginner to more experienced. We play modern board and card games that are fun and relatively easy to learn. All within a single game night. We play story games like Fiasco, Kingdom, Polaris and Microscope that encourage everyone at the table to participate creatively. We also have one-shots of indie, OSR, and narrative-focused RPGs such as Apocalypse World, Dread, Lady Blackbird, and Old School Essentials! Everybody's welcome! Come to play and showcase your games. We're back in the upper levels of the catwalk mezzanine area. It'll be packed with lots of camaraderie playing your game(s) and other's games on the 2nd floor as well as the 1st floor in the gaming room below the mezzanine. The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind.
