Details given on the day. **Isle of the Grave** Disgraced. Humiliated. Publicly castigated. And sent away from your comfortable life in the capital. Investigate a silent outpost in the northern ocean. Protect a town. Survive the coming of the night. Clear your names. Don't answer questions. A roleplay-focused puzzle adventure. **The Cost of Ascension is Betrayal** You find yourself standing outside a crumbling monastery, which contains the entry to a dungeon containing The Ascendant Heart. Held by a series of heroes and villains, only two things are known for sure about this artefact: it confers near god-like power to the one who holds it, and all who have held it have died from betrayal. Do you trust your companions? For what purpose have you sought godlike power? And what will you do to achieve it? A dungeon-crawl for 3rd level characters, includes puzzles, solo and team roleplay, and combat.

This is a chance to meet some peeps, hang out, chat, eat some snacks and maybe play some poker. Don't worry if you don't know how to play. We are happy to teach you. There's no charge and we don't use real money, but we do have prizes for first at each table. Cool drinks, snacks and chocolate will be provided. This is an alcohol free event.

Players of any ability, fitness level or background are welcomed - the game is intended to be fun for a Sunday morning rather than super competitive. If you've never played before, that's okay - the rules are as simple as this: * There's no offside - roam where you will * Defend your goal at all costs * No hands (this is soccer-style football after all) Come down for 9:00am, we make some balanced teams and warm up for the match starting at 9:15. Three thirds are played of 25 minutes each so we're usually done by about 11:00am. All fitness and soccer skill levels more than welcome and encouraged! A note regarding junior players: We very much enjoy and encourage junior players to come along and play however please be aware of the following: * As most attendees are adults, all players must be a minimum of 1.5m tall and 13 years of age. Soccer may have incidental contact when contesting a ball, and we would hate for someone small to be injured as a result of running into someone larger than them. * Any players under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a playing parent or guardian. How to find us - We meet on the astroturf pitch near the Baselball and Hockey clubs in Albert Park. The main location we use is called "Dorothy Coleman Field". Hey everyone. I’m putting together a group for a **Mansions of Madness** session on Sunday Afternoon, 29th March and I’m looking for a couple more investigators to join the table. This is a co‑op, Cthulhu‑themed mansion crawl boardgame with standalone scenarios of varying length. Will be starting with the first scenario, roughly 3-4 hours in length. Our experienced coaches will teach you basics to get you and and swinging in no time Jugger is easy to pickup the basics while deep to master. The Australian Jugger League has a voluntary annual membership that helps to support the sport (including maintaining equipment and paying for Meetup), and we encourage people to join once they become a regular attendee or begin attending tournaments. The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. All within a single game night. We play story games like Fiasco, Kingdom, Polaris and Microscope that encourage everyone at the table to participate creatively. We also have one-shots of indie, OSR, and narrative-focused RPGs such as Apocalypse World, Dread, Lady Blackbird, and Old School Essentials! Everybody's welcome! It doesn't matter if you've never tried story games before or never played roleplaying games at all! Just bring your brain and a good attitude and come try it out! *** **IMPORTANT** * When you arrive look for the marked Story Games Columbus Tables. Each table will have a separate game. Seating is on a first-come-first-serve basis. * If all tables are full, look for a Facilitator. Private Group. Closed to the Public Knowing ourselves and understanding our abilities is the first step toward wielding our gifts with control and accuracy. In subsequent classes we will verify and hone our talents with activities and discussion. These are hands-on workshops and participation is expected. The goal of our series will be to develop expertise in areas of particular interest such as mediumship, channeling, divination, healing and, etc..
