Knowing Who You Can Trust
Your survival depends on knowing who you can rely on. But how can you tell who your real friends are? How can you determine if a person will help make a joint venture successful?
Is there a way to predict behavior? Yes. There are fundamental elements to human behavior. When you know them you have insight into your fellow man, and just by observing how people act, you will know *everything* about them.
#### On this lecture you will learn:
* The important role of trust in human relationships.
* The Hubbard Chart of Human Evaluationâthe tool to know true character and predict what people will do.
* How to evaluate others accurately and guarantee a more certain future for yourself and those you care about.
With the knowledge you learn on this course, you will have tools to know who you can trust and who you can depend on.
*âTrustworthiness is a highly esteemed commodity. When one has it, one is considered valuable. When one has lost it, one may be considered worthless.â*
*âL. Ron Hubbard*

Change:NOW! Mobilising the Progressive Majority
Exciting event from comrades at Compass and the Progressive Economy Forum! [Tickets here.](https://actionnetwork.org/ticketed_events/may_30_2026?source=cmpswebsite&)
Last year, Compass brought together 450+ progressive pioneers at âChange:HOW? A Decade of Radical Renewalâ to re-orient the current Labour governmentâs promise of a âdecade of national renewalâ.
This was an amazingly successful day and a springboard for our work in the Labour Party to get organised, energised and mobilised through Mainstream.
But the past year has proven one thing above all else: the need for an organised progressive agenda **across** parties and movements, the **relationships** to make that agenda happen, and the **urgency** of making change.
Thatâs why Compass is thrilled to be working with [Progressive Economic Forum](https://progressiveeconomyforum.com/) to host **âChange:NOW! Mobilising the Progressive Majorityâ**, a day of debate, disagreement and deliberation between progressives of all parties (and none!) on **Saturday 30th May 2026.**
The conference will feature speakers from across the progressive parties and movements, including keynote speeches from **Mayor Andy Burnham, Caroline Lucas,** and **Gary Stevenson.** Please find a full speaker list below.
Weâll also be joined by partners including **Friends of the Earth, UCL Policy Lab, New Economics Foundation, Make Votes Matter, Unlock Democracy,** and **Migrant Democracy Project.**
We are splitting the day between focusing on what policies we need to deliver the change to reset our economy, and the political and cultural changes we need to bring about those policies.
Through establishing consensus on political strategy and economic direction - and highlighting the important differences in detail across progressive parties and the wider movement - this event will be the catalyst for the change our country so desperately needs.
So whether youâre a Labourite, a Green, a Lib Dem, otherwise spoken for or unaligned, get your ticket today and join us for what promises to be an inspiring and imaginative day of ideas and political debate!
The event will take place on **Saturday 30th May** at **Rich Mix**, 35-47 Bethnal Green Road, London, E1 6LA.
With our partners: Friends of the Earth \| UCL Policy Lab \| New Economics Foundation \| Mainstream \| Renewal \| Economic Change Unit \| Make Votes Matter \| Unlock Democracy \| Migrant Democracy Project

Debate: THW Ban Abortion After Week 18 in the UK
In 2025â2026, the UK removed criminal penalties for women ending their own pregnancies, while keeping the 24-week limit.
This raises crucial questions:
Should abortion beyond 18 weeks be treated as healthcare and personal choice?
Or does it blur the law and weaken accountability?
**Have your say, join the debate!**
Join us on **26 May 2026** at the Windsor Castle pub for drinks and discussion as we debate the motion: **THW Ban Abortion After Week 18 in the UK**
**First half**: Improvised mini-debates â all are welcome to speak.
**Second half**: Prepared speeches, followed by floor contributions â an opportunity to share your views.
**[GET YOUR GUEST TICKET HERE](https://104londondebaters.club/)**
During the first half of the meeting, there will be an improvised mini-debate session, where anyone may get called to defend or oppose a motion in 2 minutes (voluntarily, of course).
During the main debate, 3 debaters will propose the motion, 3 debaters will oppose it, and **YOU** may give your opinion during Floor Contributions.
The meeting will be held on the first floor of[ the Windsor Castle pub](https://windsorcastle-victoria.co.uk/) in Victoria, a beautiful Victorian pub with great food, drinks prices. Make sure to give the code word: *Debate Club*!

It's where time begins but only because of the ravens in the Tower. Find out why the Astronomer Royal's wife was furious, why the observatory was almost destroyed by terrorism. See where Ann Boelyn doomed herself, where Elizabeth I played as a child, where Nelson lay in state as part of a massive propaganda exercise and the site of the country's Sistine Chapel. There's plenty more on this walk packed with naval and royal history.
