Centro Cultural Capoeira Água de Beber (CECAB) – Capoeira Água de Beber Cultural Centre – is a non-profit organization, founded officially in January 2002. Its pivot activity is Capoeira (classes, rodas, workshops, public presentations, cultural events, performances), however it aggregates other cultural manifestations as: samba de roda, maculelê, frevo, ciranda, dança do coco, dança afro, puxada de rede, craftworks workshops of making and playing music instruments, video projections, movies, lectures about relevant cultural topics and matters related to enforcement of citizenship. Please note the following: 1. This is a concrete surface, so factor that into your choice of footwear. 2. In the case of bad weather, the bandstand itself is roofed, so there should be no problem with rain etc, but numbers will be much more limited, with no over-spill spaces. 3. Please feel free to bring snacks etc., however, please bring something to bring your rubbish home in, as bins in that area of Phoenix Park are a little sparse. 4. The Phoenix Park Tearooms are an excellent facility and serve wonderful coffee, tea, treats. Please consider them as an option for your pre-dancing turbo boost. It does no harm to get on well with our neighbours. There are toilets there too, but they are normally quite busy. 5. Please don't come if feeling unwell. 6. This event is free of charge.
