## 🐦 Birdsong Mindfulness Walks 🌿
*Slow, nature-based mindfulness in Barcelona*

* Slow, mindful meditation walk (not fitness or hiking).
* Birdsong as a mindfulness anchor (not birdwatching).
* No individual Reiki during the walk for larger groups *(5-min Reiki available before/after if requested).*

Join a slow, mostly silent walk through the **Montjuïc area**, guided by birdsong, breath, and gentle presence.
This is an invitation to step out of the rush of everyday life and reconnect — with your body, your senses, and the natural world around you.
Just walking, listening, and being here.

### ✨ What we’ll do
* Begin with a short, gentle grounding practice
* Walk at a **slow, mindful pace** (intentionally slower than a usual walk)
* Use **birdsong and natural sounds** as anchors for awareness
* Pause at times to listen, sense, or simply be still
* Close with a few moments of shared stillness
For larger groups, **individual Reiki is not offered during the walk**.
If you’d like a **short 5-minute Reiki session**, feel free to let me know in advance or come speak with me **before or after** the walk (always by consent).

### 🐦 A note on birds
This is **not a birdwatching walk**, though we use birdsong as a meditation anchor.
If you’re curious, I’m always happy to chat **after the walk** about birds we noticed by sight or sound. I’m also planning to open a **monthly gathering for amateur birdwatching** soon.

### 🗣 Language
Guided talks and meditations are currently offered in **English**.
I’m learning **Spanish and Catalan**, and I hope to offer guided practices in those languages in the future.

We began with very small, intimate groups due to individual Reiki sessions.
As interest has grown, I’m opening up **more spots** and keeping the structure simple so we can walk together more spaciously.
Returning walkers may occasionally join beyond the usual number, as they’re already familiar with the pace and nature of the practice.

I’m a **mindfulness teacher in training**, and part of this journey includes learning through practice. You may be gently invited to share feedback to help me grow as a facilitator.

¿Que entiendes las reglas… pero te gustaría que vinieran con subtítulos?
¿Te diagnosticaron ya siendo adulto/a y de repente muchas cosas encajaron… pero siguen quedando mil dudas?
Este encuentro está creado precisamente para personas que se reconocen en estas experiencias.
El objetivo es ofrecer un espacio donde quienes son autistas (30+), con o sin pareja, puedan tener compañía sincera, humor compartido, comprensión real y un respiro social, sin máscaras ni presiones. y quien sabe ... **Al igual encontraras un nuevo amigo ;)**
**📍 Lugar**
Terraza del segundo piso – Biblioteca Pública Fort Pienc (Barcelona)
Un espacio amplio, tranquilo, al aire libre y con bajo ruido ambiental, pensado para reducir la carga sensorial y permitir que las interacciones fluyan de forma natural.
**📅 Frecuencia**
Reuniones presenciales de 1 hora y media, una vez por semana, en grupos pequeños para que nadie se sienta abrumado.
La idea es normalizar, reírnos un poco y crear un ambiente donde pueda surgir conexión entre personas parecidas, tal vez una nueva amistad. ;)
## **Rituales y pequeños gustos cotidianos que nos regulan y nos hacen bien.**
Muchas personas autistas descubrimos, con los años, que hay **cosas sencillas y repetitivas** que nos dan bienestar, calma o energía…
Aunque no siempre sepamos explicarlas ni encajen en lo “socialmente interesante”.
Esta semana hablaremos de esos **rituales cotidianos no obvios**:
actividades, rutinas, estímulos, intereses o gestos que nos hacen sentir mejor, más en calma o más nosotros mismos.
El enfoque es cotidiano, tranquilo y respetuoso.

### 💬 ¿De qué hablaremos?
Algunas preguntas que pueden salir (opcionales):
* Cosas que te gustan mucho aunque a otras personas les parezcan aburridas.
* Actividades que podrías repetir muchas veces sin cansarte.
* Pequeños rituales que te regulan el día.
* Estímulos que te hacen sentir bien (sonidos, texturas, espacios, rutinas).
* Intereses que te recargan, te acompañan o te ordenan la mente.
* Momentos en los que te sientes a gusto sin tener que esforzarte.
No hay obligación de compartir nada personal.
Escuchar también es participar.
**🌿 ¿Cómo funciona la dinámica?**
Se empezara por la conversacion y sacarameos mas preguntas sobre los temas 1 hasta que acabe la hora, y se conversará con calma a turnos. Quien desee hablar, habla; quien prefiera escuchar, escucha. Se permiten silencios, pausas largas, observación tranquila. **No se corrige, no se juzga, no se presiona.**
El propósito es ofrecer un entorno amable y seguro para que las personas autistas puedan estar a su ritmo.

**11:00–11:15** – Llegada tranquila y presentación.
**11:15–12:15** – Conversación guiada por turnos, a ritmo suave.

• This is a space for genuine human interaction. If possible, keep photos and videos to a minimum. Stay present in the shared experience.

• The doors close at 7:30 PM, and we do not offer refunds for late arrivals.
The opening ceremony sets the tone for the entire evening. Aim to arrive on time to fully participate in the grounding ritual.

• Dancing and movement can be intense. Feel free to take a break for water, rest, fresh air, or to enjoy some fresh 100% organic local farmer fruit whenever you need.
• We kindly discourage stepping out to smoke 🚭 and instead invite you to consider whether it’s worth interrupting your experience.

* Birdsong as a mindfulness anchor (not birdwatching).
* No individual Reiki during the walk for larger groups *(5-min Reiki available before/after if requested).*

Join a slow, mostly silent walk through the **Montjuïc area**, guided by birdsong, breath, and gentle presence.
This is an invitation to step out of the rush of everyday life and reconnect — with your body, your senses, and the natural world around you.

* Begin with a short, gentle grounding practice
* Walk at a **slow, mindful pace** (intentionally slower than a usual walk)
* Use **birdsong and natural sounds** as anchors for awareness

Free In-person Meeting: Unwanted Emotions & Loneliness, How to Get Over Them
This is an in-person meeting.
Did you know that unwanted emotions like loneliness, sadness, hopelessness, anger, fear, anxiety, or feelings of irritation don’t just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not chemical imbalance in your brain due to some nebulous chemical reactions by chance.
Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you.
The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
For instance, let's say you are already carrying a huge load on your back, then you cannot take on much more, but, let's say something else happens to you, such as the difficulties from the Pandemic, then the resultant combined weight on you can take you over the edge, kind of like the straw that break the camel's back. When this happens, people's attention usually goes to the straw that was added, but actually the majority of the weight had come from the huge load that were already there, holding a person down and causing a person issues.
So how do you remove the huge load that was already there? How do you lighten them up? Is it possible to get rid of them?
That is what this meeting will be all about.
