Centro Cultural Capoeira Água de Beber (CECAB) – Capoeira Água de Beber Cultural Centre – is a non-profit organization, founded officially in January 2002. Its pivot activity is Capoeira (classes, rodas, workshops, public presentations, cultural events, performances), however it aggregates other cultural manifestations as: samba de roda, maculelê, frevo, ciranda, dança do coco, dança afro, puxada de rede, craftworks workshops of making and playing music instruments, video projections, movies, lectures about relevant cultural topics and matters related to enforcement of citizenship. All the activities realized through CECAB are designated to execution of social responsibility projects, further on the sportive, cultural and artistic activities through the realization of the shows, presentations and events related to Capoeira and Brazilian culture.

The Greenway is a celebration of an area of the Port that has never been accessed by the public before and offers people an exciting new destination to visit. Jugger is a fast paced but easy to pick up sport that is great for beginners. Its like a combination of tag rugby and fencing and is a great way to meet new people and then hit them with a padded stick. Its light contact and the only gear you need to bring is clothing you are comfortable running around in and some water.

Join us at our weekly Balfolk dancing session in the **NED O'SHEAS pub from 4 to 6pm!** 💃 Learn folk dances from many countries, meet people from all over the world and enjoy some live music at the end of the session! 🪕🎻🪗 **We usualy have around 20+ regular dancers**, so don't be afraid about low engagement here on meetup, and also 1 to 4 teachers every session! Beginners and two-left feet people are welcome! The meaning of the word zen is meditation, zazen means sitting meditation. In zazen practice we begin to know ourselves, and to go beyond the limits of our personal ego. Within our tradition zazen is referred to as shikantaza, not doing, letting go of thoughts, dropping off body and mind. This sitting meditation is the focus of our practice. Language limits our ability to communicate the true nature of zen; it is something that is better understood through practice. We are open to everyone interested in learning about zen. Intro workshop for newcomers is available at 5.30pm each Sunday. The dojo is a sacred place and it is important to be considerate of everyone. We have many people that travel to practise together once a week or once a month. So for that reason it is really essential that we all know the structure of the sitting practise (when to sit, how to do Kinhin, the different bell sounds and their meaning etc), to ensure a silent, safe and meaningful meditation. And it's also great to meet everyone before the sitting practise. And answer any questions you may have. We have zafus and zabutons (mats and cushions) for all to sit on. Chairs are available too. Comfortable clothing for sitting, black or neutral tones best. We greatly appreciate a donation of €5 to cover costs if it's possible for you. We at Freesalsa Ireland believe in growing the community, something our friend DJ Leo also believes in. Therefore, we are delighted to promote his weekly practice here on our Meetup for those of you looking to spend their Sunday in the best way. There will be a 60-minute lesson before social with the award-winning DJ Leo until 17.00.
