Chér.e.s Group Elements, (Oui, comme dans un groupe mathématique 🧮🙂) Retrouvons-nous pour assister à cette conférence assez fascinante (et informative !) sur « **Rayons gamma et données ouvertes : explorer les galaxies actives sans frontières** **»** par Catherine Boisson (Obs. de Paris) 🌌 🌌 **Voici la description :** 🗺️ Les noyaux actifs de galaxies sont sources de rayonnements intenses et constituent des accélérateurs de particules très efficaces. Les observer aux très hautes énergies permet d'explorer des processus physiques fondamentaux, comme les mécanismes d'accélération des particules et les processus radiatifs à l'œuvre dans les jets. 🔭 Dans ce contexte, les réseaux de télescopes au sol, capables de détecter la lumière Cherenkov produite par l'interaction des rayons gamma dans notre atmosphère, jouent un rôle clé. Toutefois, la modélisation de ces sources nécessite une approche multi-longueurs d'onde, combinant des données obtenues de la radio aux rayons gamma pour reconstruire leur distribution spectrale d'énergie et leur variabilité. 🎙️ Derrière chaque résultat scientifique se cache donc un immense travail de coordination, de modélisation et de gestion des données. J'ai découvert Practical Philosophy au Canada et j'ai tellement aimé que j'ai décidé de l'importer à Paris (il y a aussi une branche à Lyon si vous n'êtes pas de la région). **🏛️ C’EST QUOI, LA PRACTICAL PHILOSOPHY ?** Practical philosophy, c’est un rendez-vous hebdomadaire où des esprits curieux se retrouvent pour creuser un sujet, affûter leur façon de s’exprimer et tisser des liens. Pas besoin d’être un pro de la philo pour participer, tout le monde est le bienvenu ! 😎 L’idée, c’est que la philosophie, ce n’est pas juste pour les profs d’université. Chaque semaine, on choisit un thème et on en discute pour aiguiser notre esprit critique et nos talents de communicants. C'est aussi une manière d'apprendre à mieux se connaître soi-même, en affirmant et argmumentant ce qu'on pense réellement. Bref, on bosse sur trois piliers : **Pensée Critique**, **Communication** et **Communauté** 🙌. **📓 COMMENT ÇA MARCHE ?** Chaque semaine, on se focalise sur un sujet qu’on décortique ensemble.
