**The RPG School Initiative** a *beginner-focused* one-shot event series RPG School offers a beginner-focused, relaxed atmosphere to experience the joy of table-top roleplaying gaming for the first time. We will show you the ropes and dice, take you on a fun adventure and are prepared for all your questions. No prior experience with roleplaying or the system is needed. We will be playing Daggerheart, a new Fantasy RPG by Critical Role, using a world called Beast Feast: A bit absurd, certainly comedic, sometimes creepy, but always fun and silly. You will be playing with three to four other players at one table, the assignment happens during the event. We start each adventure with a short introduction, where you learn about the basics and pick your pre-made character. Afterwards we dive into a unique experience, explaining the rules and concepts while actually playing the game. At the end, we have time to talk and find connections as well as hear your thoughts and questions. All games are in English. The cost of participation is **8 Euro**, which you will pay at the entrance. Never played RPGs and always wanted to try? A powerful lure drew all the dangerous creatures in your forest down into caves beneath. Your community lived a simple life of peace for generations, only taking what you needed and leaving the lush but dangerous undergrounds to the monsters. But recently, the lure seems to have lost its allure. Monster sightings have grown and just last night, there was even an attack on your mayor, Doug Dougle! He survived but it was a shock for your community. You and your friends decide to tackle the problem yourselves. You arm yourself with a rolling pin, a fishing rod or whatever other odd tool you find. Packing only the essentials, you head out and turn west, to the well-known but shunned entrance to the legendary endless caves. What dangers and wonders will you encounter? What happened to the lure? And what will you eat on your journey? **TONE:** The tone of the setting and adventures will be absurd, comedic and lighthearted. Still, fighting somewhat creepy monsters will be part of the experience. Si t'interessa aprendre a combatre, emular les lluites de les teves pel·lícules favorites, lluitar amb espasa, subjectar un escut, dominar els secrets de l'equilibri de peus o fer fitnes d'un mode diferent; el Softcombat i el Rol en Viu són una activitat que has de provar. **És durant el matí de 11h a 13.30h quan major quantitat de participants es reuneixen. **Volvemos con El Futuro (Im)posible: Una serie animada sobre los problemas y soluciones que definen nuestro futuro.** Mientras nuestras series y películas de ciencia ficción nos entretienen con relatos apocalípticos muchos de los chichés del Sci Fi, (los mundos desertificados, inundados, manejados por tecno-corporaciones e inteligencias artificiales) pareciera que tenemos que elegir entre el colapso económico o el ecológico, como si no hubiese manera de generar puestos de trabajo y redistribuir riqueza sin destruir el planeta. **Por suerte existen miles de movimientos que trabajan para construir otro futuro posible.** Las economías locales, circulares y del bien común, el diseño regenerativo, los biomateriales, la permacultura, los códigos libres y abiertos, la democracia participativa, son algunas de las muchas ideas y herramientas que tenemos para diseñar alternativas. **Esta es la historia de algunas de las personas y los movimientos inspiradores que trabajan día a día para construir un futuro regenerativo, alimentando a un mundo hambriento, empleando millones de personas, redistribuyendo la riqueza y sanando los ecosistemas en el camino.** **Los capítulos buscan concientizar y poner en movimiento al espectador hacia futuros posibles.** **Os invitamos este 19 de Febrero a las 18.30h :** \- 18\.30h se abren puertas \+ introducción al evento \- 18\.45h proyección de la serie \(3 capítulos\) \- 19\.15h Discusión & Brainstorming \(grupos\) 💡 Cómo va a funcionar la sesión de brainstorming? **How biases, vandalism of information, and data poisoning compromise judgment and consciousness.** In this talk, we will look at the infrastructure of our knowledge. We live in an era where "looking it up" has become a reflex, yet the platforms we trust to be neutral arbiters of truth are increasingly susceptible to manipulation, vandalism, and systemic bias. Naturally, when this is combined with our own cognitive biases and a lack of time, will or possibilities to verify facts, we are left vulnerable before we even make up our minds. This session serves as the first chapter of what might be a new three-part series examining how emerging technologies, systemic biases and the curation of information shape our opinions and consciousness. While this is a stand-alone talk requiring no previous knowledge, it builds upon our earlier discussions on rationality. We will move from the theoretical - a brief history of encyclopedias and the enlightenment ideal of organized knowledge - to the practical reality of Wikipedia and other platforms today.
