This is a weekly training session with Vienna Gaels, a Vienna-based Irish GAA club playing Gaelic football and hurling. The session is relaxed, structured, and welcoming, with coaching provided throughout. Agenda • Arrive from 5:45 and meet the group • Warm-up as a full group • One hour of Gaelic football training and one hour of hurling training • The order alternates each week • Wrap-up shortly before 8:00 pm Who it’s for • All levels are welcome • New players are encouraged • No previous experience of Gaelic sports is needed • Men’s and ladies teams train on the same night What to bring • Sportswear suitable for outdoor training • Football boots or trainers (astro or moulded studs work best) • Water No equipment is required to try your first session. Im Liechtenstein Gartenpalais läuft derzeit eine internationale Ausstellung, die sich erstmals genauer mit den Dynamiken des Kunstmarkts beschäftigt – also zum Beispiel mit Marktplätzen, Verkaufsstrategien und der Preisgestaltung. In der Ausstellung zeigen die Sammlungen des Fürsten von Liechtenstein, wie sich der europäische Kunsthandel entwickelt hat: von der Antike über die italienischen Stadtstaaten der Renaissance bis zum Goldenen Zeitalter der Niederlande und den spektakulären Präsentationen und transatlantischen Verkäufen im 19. Jahrhundert. Dabei kannst du entdecken, dass viele Phänomene des heutigen Kunstmarkts eigentlich schon seit Jahrhunderten existieren. Da wichtige Entwicklungen oft in bestimmten Städten oder Regionen entstanden sind, widmen sich einzelne Räume genau diesen Zentren und zeigen, welche neuen Ideen und Praktiken dort entstanden sind. We thought of one of the interesting things that can be enjoyed at this time of the year. We will be meeting at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for a "Fish Fry" in Marian Hall on Friday, March 27th at 5:00 PM. It might be fun for you to experience what has become a tradition on the Fridays before Easter. They will have fried fish or baked fish, French fries and Cole slaw, as well as beverages, all for $16.00 for adults. They will have other beverages and desserts available for sale, as well. We have never tried this, and sometimes there are quite a few people at these events so we hope that we will be able to find each other easily.
