Tour de Talbot 2026
Join your fellow cyclists for a grand metric century over the wondrous flatness that is the MD Eastern Shore in Talbot County. This a a super friendly route with great stops, a ferry ride and up to 100 Km of riding in the longest route. There is also a lunch at the end with some adult beverages.

Join us for a calm and cozy afternoon of creating together at Oakton Library. This is a relaxed social art meetup, not a class. No instruction, no pressure. Just time to focus, draw, paint, and connect.

Tarot Practicum
Nervous about reading for others? Or just want to learn how? Do you want an opportunity to practice in a supportive environment? Join Gypsy Dervish as he leads us through the basic practice of reading the Tarot. Ask questions, participate in group readings, and read for other participants. For those of you taking the Tarot 101 classes, this will also be a chance to put into practice what you learned there. ($5 discount on this class, if you take both, making a $10 total discount. Remember to register for both classes individually. You do not need to take Tarot 101 to participate in the practicum.)

Make a Chicken Quilt with Dudley Shugart
Learn to make chicken blocks using traditional piecing methods, simple straight lines and diagonal seams ā no paper piecing or templates (you can make a table runner instead of a quilt if desired). Dudley will also teach you the flip and sew method that **makes perfect points for the chicken crowns and beaks ā without having to cut or piece tiny triangles!** Traditional quilting techniques and methods will be taught throughout class.
