This class is suitable for confident beginning sewists — students will receive tips on scrap piecing, embroidering faces, hair techniques, and creating a smooth, stuffed surface for their doll. Kira Wharton will share her decades of toy-making experience to help students create a one-of-a-kind doll, including sharing from her stash of colorful scrap fabrics for piecing the body; scrap yarn, ribbon, etc., for the hair; embroidery floss for the face, polyfil stuffing and a stuffing tool.
