Ce spectacle est un voyage plein de rebondissements joyeux, poétiques et gourmands dans la vie d’un papa solo tour à tour père, amant et enfant aussi. Mes rencontres amoureuses les plus drôles, loufoques, ma mère magicienne de la cuisine, folle de Zara, pour elle, j’ai toujours 5 ans, mon grand-père épicurien et diabétique, mes ados acidulés tendres et piquants et ma folie douce pour le chocolat. Ce spectacle inspiré à 95% de faits réels respire la joie de vivre ! Après le spectacle, nous pourrons partager un joyeux moment autour d’un verre ensemble. Après avoir joué plus de 200 fois ce spectacle au théâtre des Blancs Manteaux, au Festival d’Avignon, à Marseille, Lille, je reviens le jouer pour 6 représentations seulement. The topic for April is "Water" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect. So this month's prompt is more general. I think we can all agree that we are living in "unique" times that require coping skills. I think that one role and/or purpose of philosophy is to help us deal with our daily lives and our "unique" times. So, let's share our feelings and thoughts about which philosopher/philosophy we turn to in order to deal with our crazy events. Who/what helps you stay focused in your daily life and helps you sleep at night. I find that Stoicism with a little philosophical pessimism mixed in goes a long way in helping me deal with what I see as very destructive, fearful and mean spirited public policies at both the state and federal levels.
