This group is for anyone interested in writing in English, whether it be prose or poetry or non-fiction. We get together once a week to listen, critique and support each other in our work. Attendees bring something they have written, six copies, printed out and no longer than seven pages, which they read aloud. They then receive feedback from the rest of the group. The size of the group is limited to 6, so that everyone is able to receive a full 30 minutes of constructive feedback including reading time. If you have nothing to read but would like to come and listen, you are most welcome too. This exhibition presents Alexander Grothendieck the mathematician, keeping as far as possible from biographical drama.* *The traces of his continuous mathematical research between 1973 and 1991 are both visible and abundant, as shown by the thousands of pages Grothendieck wrote between his arrival in Montpellier and his departure for the village of Lasserre in Ariège. These pages form the core of the exhibition’s documentation and imagery.* *Visitors are invited to follow fragments of the itinerary of Grothendieck’s mathematical explorations. ## Details Hello writers, we are happy to meet you in our new permanent home: Bohème Coworking, located at 21 rue Sedaine in the 11th arrondissement. When you arrive, just tell the friendly folks at La Boheme reception that you are with the writing group. They will give you a little wooden knick-knack with the wifi codes and a number that they use to determine the cost based on time spent (it's 3,80 € per hour, paid at the end). ***Now, about Ready-Set-Write! ..*.** Ready Set Write! is a regular meeting of motivated writers who grab a beverage, then shut up and write. ***What it is:*** An opportunity for writers to get together and do short, intense bursts of writing. We write for 45-ish minutes, take a 15 minute break, rinse & repeat. ***What it is NOT:*** neither a forum for critiquing each other's work, nor shameless self-promoting your projects or groups. Great small park; for me the concretions are always the highlight. Gravel trail with a couple of inclines - poles can be helpful on these. The loop is around 2 miles; plan on doing it twice (if you want less mileage you can drop off after the first loop). Optional lunch after the hike; location tbd. When you enter the park drive to the parking lot straight in front of you vs the one to the left.

Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. A Must See movie by Christopher Nolan! How can you reconstruct the past if you can't remember it? Leonard Shelby, an amnesiac, must do precisely that but so do we as viewers because much of the movie is told backwards. Nolan uses every cinematic trick in the book to help us see things as Shelby sees it. Widely acclaimed, we hope you will too!
