Have you ever wished you could sing with more confidence? **Ready, Set, Sing!** is a fun, beginner-friendly series of three evenings designed to help you discover your voice in a relaxed and welcoming group. Hosted by the Fairfax Jubil-Aires at our regular rehearsal location, these **free singing lessons** are open to anyone—no experience, auditions, or music reading required. Our award-winning director, Richard Lewellen, will guide you through simple vocal techniques, warm-ups, and group singing that make it easy and enjoyable to participate. Many people come “just to watch”… and end up singing before the night is over! Hello piano players: Our next meeting will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at my house, 5612 Cromwell Drive, Bethesda, MD 20816. We will start at 2:00 pm. Also, reach out to a friend and work up a duet – they are fun and always welcome. In the past we have had duets with two pianos, with singers, and with the clarinet, and they bring a nice variety of music to our meetings. We will have snacks, finger food, light drinks, beer and wine, but your donations of food and drink are always welcome. Parking is on the street near my house. I hope to see you on April 26th. We meet to learn and practice American Sign Language and to grow our familiarity with Deaf culture. Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome! The Alliance is part of the Greater Central Ohio Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. We are an all-voices chorus dedicated to providing an inclusive environment for all those who love to sing, regardless of their race, gender identity, sexual orientation or musical background. The Alliance is the first and only all-voices barbershop chorus in Central Ohio. **Who:** Anyone with a passion for singing at a high level.
