🍷 **An intimate writing workshop in the artistic, soulful setting of _Moudi_.** 🌿 Theme of the evening: Haiku. Join us for a special creative writing session where we will explore the delicate art of haiku poetry. Together, we will: * Discover the traditional structure and rhythm (5–7–5 syllables). * Learn about seasonal references (kigo) and imagery. * Explore Japanese words and aesthetic concepts linked to haiku. * Read selected haiku and reflect on their simplicity and depth. After a few gentle warm-up exercises to spark your creativity, you will be invited to craft your own haiku. At the end of the session, those who wish to share are welcome to do so in a supportive and relaxed atmosphere. No prior writing experience is needed. Curiosity is enough. Discover the making of the Schweizer Bergwelten, a visual exploration of the Swiss mountains in 100 infographics with the designer Fabian Lang. Fabian will guide us through the development of this book, discussing research challenges and design decisions encountered in visualizing Switzerland's mountain landscapes. **INTENSIVE Drawing Course - learn to draw independently, step by step** This **intensive drawing course** is for anyone who wants to learn drawing from scratch and master it confidently in the long term. The goal of this course is to guide you step by step **to being able to draw independently** – without reference materials, without uncertainty, and with a solid understanding of form, proportion, and light. The focus is on building a strong foundation that is essential for any drawing style In this course, you'll learn the **absolute basics of drawing** : sketching, shading, and accurate measuring. These three areas form the foundation for both realistic and stylized drawings. You'll learn how to observe subjects correctly, place lines deliberately, and create depth and volume using simple techniques. Measuring proportions, in particular, will help you avoid typical beginner mistakes and significantly improve your drawings. Whether you're just getting started or want to try something new, this class is about visual exploration without any level pressure. Together, we’ll swap the fear of getting it wrong for the fun of discovering what’s possible. In the drawing days, we’ll cover the basics like shapes, shading, and perspective, and try out approaches like still life, improvisation, and life drawing. 12 Drawing/Printmaking Sessions This is an art class that brings together the freedom of drawing and the playfulness of printmaking! All in a cozy, welcoming space of Zimmerli atelier and Mathias Gentinetta’s Workshop! In the printmaking days, we’ll experiment with: * TETRA PAK PRINTING turning recycled cartons into art * MONOTYPE spontaneous, expressive mark-making * COLLAGRAPHS using natural and found textures to create prints * LINOPRINT / WOODCUT traditional technique of printmaking with open possibilities of experimentation. * COLLECTIVE PRINTMAKING Big scale print from everyones prints. * ENGRAVING / ETCHING Printmaking lessons will be with Mathias Gentinetta and Artemis Tsakiri. Welcome to Loki Welldone. We are an old-school basketball club. We focus on having fun playing and socializing afterwards. If you also like to play basketball, you've come to the right place! Everyone (all genders) is welcome here. We usually play every Friday from 8pm - 9.30pm in Schulhaus Kartaus. We organize ourselves through the clubs whatsapp chat, but would like to offer external people to join us. We are usually 4-10 players, playing either 2v2, 3v3 or 4v4. Changing room and showers are available PS: Many members of our club used to play in a competitve Basketball team or another sports team (ex. soccer or handball). A fun way to compare wines from two different countries at a time. House Wine is squaring off two countries' wines against each other each Thursday in March. March 12, March 19, March 26, and the Finals April 2nd. Meet and Greet format....show up after 7pm, pay your $15 at the cash register, get your wine glass, and enjoy.
