A collective experiment in AI, care & futures using instinct, wordplay and making to think together. No expertise required. Just curiousity. Exquisite Corpus is MODE's first public experiment — a two-hour workshop where participants use word association, collaborative making, and collective reflection to explore how we think about AI, care, and the futures we're building together. There are no experts here. No lectures. No right answers. You'll work in small groups to create visual responses to randomly drawn word combinations — then layer your work with others, building toward a collective artifact that none of you could have made alone. In the process, something honest tends to emerge about how we actually feel about futures. **Who this is for:** Anyone curious about AI, technology, and collective futures. Artists, technologists, researchers, students, community organizers, people who feel excluded from the conversation about AI and want in. You don't need a background in ethics or technology. You need curiosity and willingness to play. **About MODE:** MODE (Meta Otium for Dynamic Ethics) is a new Dublin-based think tank exploring the ethical futures of AI and emerging technologies through participatory practice. Centro Cultural Capoeira Água de Beber (CECAB) – Capoeira Água de Beber Cultural Centre – is a non-profit organization, founded officially in January 2002. **Craft Night has returned to Tog!** *From 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm every second Sunday, drop by and join in.* Whether you make the yarn itself (we love spinners!) or noodle about with e-textiles and blinky quilts, you will be very welcome. If you haven’t been to Craft Night before, it’s mainly people working on portable crafts like yarn-based and textile projects, jewellery and paper crafts. Feel free to bring your current WIP (Work In Progress). We’ll take over the common area with crafting and conversation. We might even try to bring a group Craft Night project to Dublin Maker (it’s been a while!). A phone free night to connect with others, create, read, write, relax or just chill. No technology and lots of things to do. A phone-free night in Dublin city centre to slow down and spend time offline. It's a €3 entry but **free for all Meetup members,** just show you're part of the group at the door :) Come along for an easygoing evening of reading, making, chatting, relaxing, or just having a break from screens for a few hours. No phones, no notifications, no pressure to do anything in particular. The welcome event is taking place in a mystery venue near Temple Bar and will only be sent to ticket holders. We’ll have a large upstairs space with light background music and plenty of room to settle in however you feel like. Attendees are encouraged to come alone as we want people to meet others. There’ll be collage materials, paper, pens, magazines, and drawing supplies available throughout the night. Bring a book if you’ve been meaning to read. Start a collage. Draw. Journal. Meet someone new. Come with friends or come on your own. You’re welcome to chat with people or keep to yourself. Both are equally encouraged.
