A Rabble session is 1 hour of fun and social team games. Each game disguises high-intensity intervals within the rules, giving you an effective, all-body workout without even realising it. SASH and London Friend are running a social group for Queer people with an East or South-East Asian background (including mixed heritage). This month we will be running a boardgame social for you to meet and connect with people from the community! There will be a few boardgame options to select from to play with a large group (Wavelength, Codenames, Fake Artist and Bananagrams), but if you would like to bring your own, it would be much appreciated if you could explain the rules! The QESEA group is a social drop-in where people can join at any time. The structure of the drop-in goes as followed: * 7pm-7:15pm: group introductions * 7:15pm-9pm: boardgames social The group will be facilitated at the London Friend building near Kings Cross. Upon arrival, please ring the door bell so the group facilitator can let you in. The group room has step-free access and there is also an accessible toilet on the ground floor.

It's a traditional English sport for everyone, even the unsporty. Your team will be either fielding or batting before swapping after the innings. When batting, the aim is to hit the ball, then try and run around the four posts. Your team gets a rounder if you make it round the four posts without stopping or getting out. You are out if when you hit the ball someone catches the ball before it reaches the ground or someone stumps a post before you get there. The rules will be explained at the beginning of each meetup with a practice round at the beginning. We play a slightly modified version of the official rules where if you are out, it's not game over for you. Your team will lose a life instead. This will give everyone multiple opportunities to bat. **It's very simple to pick up and the ball we use is very soft. We are very beginner friendly and the focus is on having fun rather than being competitive**. We attract attendees of all ages and sporting level. You are welcome to come and watch only too. The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~20 per person. Soft drink refills are 1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind.
