We hiked this trail in March 2026, and everyone loved it! Lake Needwood–Gude–Blue Heron Loop in Rock Creek Regional Park. • Distance: 3.6 miles • Difficulty: Easy, with a gentle climb of 337 ft • Time: 1.5–2 hours at a leisurely pace • Scenery: Beautiful lake views, wetlands, and lots of birds (herons, ducks, geese) • Ideal if you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic, and not too tiring experience • Wide, well-marked trails — perfect for chatting Don’t forget to pack your essentials (water, snacks, and tissues are a good idea). If you’re bringing your dog, please let us know in the comments, just in case anyone has allergies. We’ll all meet at the parking lot near the boat house.

Come join us for a taste of Korean, Japanese & Chinese cuisine at Tilly's Kitchen in Chantilly, where we get together for some dinner and play some board games until closing time. I’ll be providing with some games that we can play, but you can also BYOBG (Bring Your Own Board Games). This will be a smaller event, due to the small capacity. If you are waitlisted, please standby until a spot opens up.

Come join us in Reston Town Center for our annual summertime Ice Cream Social! We'll chat, eat desserts, and have a fun evening hanging out with each other and socializing! There are multiple dessert locations you choose from. There are Ice Cream Jubilee, Ben & Jerry’s, and Pitango Gelato. There is also a free outdoor concert that is happening at the Pavilion that will provide some 80s themed live music to add to the summer vibes. Parking is readily available throughout Reston Town Center, and the garages are free on weekends. \*Note: In the event of inclement weather, specifically rainfall, the event will be postponed. Attendees will be notified, and a rescheduled date will be determined.

Regular coffee meetup for people to meet, make new friends, or enjoy general conversations with coffee. Great for those who are new in town or looking for new activities to do! This will be held at Weird Brothers Coffee at Worldgate Centre in Herndon. Afterwards, if anyone is interested, we can grab lunch at whichever nearby restaurant in the shopping center. There’s a TGI Friday’s, a Thai place, a Mexican place, Inchin’s Asian fusion restaurant, and we are open to alternative preferences. Additional Note: If you are on the Wait List, you can still feel free to attend if you wish.

Hello everyone! Come join us for a hike around Sugarloaf Mountain. We will meet in the East View parking lot by the picnic benches by 9:00am. Please allow yourself extra time (10 - 15 min) for parking, as it is crowded on the weekends. Then, we will go on the White Trail until it intersects with the Blue Trail, hop on the Blue Trail until we reach the West View parking lot, and then go on the Green Trail until we reach the summit. We will take a break at the top, enjoy the views, and then head back down the Orange Trail, until we reach our starting point at the East View parking lot. Please see the linked map below.
