Usually we pay 5-6€/person for the whole 1.5 hours. PLEASE, bring some cash on you, unless you have Revolut or IRIS (nope, a 50€ euro bill does not count). **Location**: The venue cannot be reached by metro, so you have to either take a bus or **carpool** with any attending member that will arrive via car. ℹ️ Bus options should be fairly good, since the venue is next to a big amusement park & a mall. ℹ️ Personally, I'll always be coming via car, so I'll have 4 available spots in my car. Ball’s Bluff Regional Park is a hidden gem rich in history and natural beauty. The park features winding forest trails, scenic river views, and quiet spots perfect for taking a break or chatting with fellow hikers. Once the site of a Civil War battle, it’s now a serene place to enjoy nature and experience a peaceful escape just minutes from downtown Leesburg. **Meeting Time & Location:** 9:30 AM at the **Ball's Bluff Regional Park Parking Lot**. **Distance:** 5.34 miles (approximately) **Elevation Gain:** 643 feet **Difficulty:** Moderate Hike This hike features natural trails with moderate difficulty, including some elevation gains. **🌿 Clopper Lake Shore Trail Hike** Ready for a refreshing nature escape? Join us for a scenic hike around Clopper Lake Shore Trail—one of the most peaceful and picturesque spots in Maryland. This \~3.7-mile loop is beginner-friendly, mostly flat, and packed with lake views, wooded paths, and plenty of spots to pause, chat, and soak it all in. What to expect: • Easy/moderate pace • Friendly, social group vibes • Beautiful lake scenery 🌊 What to bring: • Water 💧 • Comfortable shoes 👟 • Good energy & good vibes 😄 We’ll meet at the parking area near the lake. Your cat might be under 21, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t drink! We are bringing the cats to the beer garden. Feel free to come with or without a cat and get ready to socialize and raise a glass with fellow cat lovers! 🍻 This is a great opportunity to make new friends. I will be bringing one or both of my cats and they would love to meet you! If you bring your cat, make sure they are wearing a collar, harness, leash, in a backpack, carrier, and/or stroller. We will be meeting in the side tent called the “special events tent” opposite of the entrance. We have the tent fully reserved for our group!
