Have you ever wanted to experience the world of the new RPG system Daggerheart? In this event we will teach you character creation, core game mechanics, and go through a 60-90 minute one-shot scenario for you to test out your newly created character! These sessions are meant to be **introductory friendly for new adventurers to get their foot in the door of Daggerheart.** Every **month** will be a **new** adventure from the Daggerheart! We know you have a shelf of unpainted miniatures waiting to be brought to life, but might find it hard to start, stay motivated, or are afraid you'll make it look bad. Come out and paint with us! We'll be hosting a monthly social paint night to allow for folks to body double while painting. It's a great opportunity to meet new people, exchange painting tips and tricks, all while working through your backlog of models. This isn't just limited to miniatures either. Bring a canvas, some blank sneakers, or just some cash (and buy a mini at the store). Test out different paint brands from Acrylicos Vallejo, AK Interactive, The Army Painter, and Citadel Paints. A fee of $5+tax (to be paid at the event) applies to help cover the cost of some painting supplies that will be provided by the store. Hope to see you!

Sorry no paddles needed for this one who's up for a 4 hour hike just north of Bolton If you put in "Bolton Resource Management Track" in to your phone it should take you to a parking lot just off Emil Kolb PKWY the plan is to hike on the trail along the Humber river north for about two hours then back again bring a snack and boots that will keep your feet dry if you step in deep snow

The Board Games event is a fun, sociable and charitable event We are a fun, friendly and kind group of people mostly in our 20s, 30s and 40s. Beginners are welcome! We are a very inclusive and social group and we teach people how to play games they have not played before :) We provide a variety of 40+ board games. Welcome to Casual Boardgames, where we enjoy classic tabletop games and social deduction games while bonding over good food, drinks, and great conversations. 
We started this group to meet new people and make new friends, and bonding over games in a relaxed atmosphere is a great way to do that. We currently meet near route 23 and Polaris Parkway, and this is close to areas like Powell, Lewis Center, Worthington, and parts of Westerville and Columbus. 
Feel free to bring your own games or play one of the many games our members bring. If you are inexperienced, we will help you learn. 
Here are just a few examples of the kind of games we play. 
Tabletop/board games: Splendor, Catan, Azul, Dominion, 7 Wonders… 
Social deduction games: Code Names, Chameleon, Werewords… 
IMPORTANT: 
1. While we love playing a variety of games and competing, we are not just about the games. We interact and talk while playing, and this leads to a lot of laughter and fun. If you just want to compete and focus solely on the game, then this is probably not the group you are looking for. 
2. Many people join groups like this and never (or rarely) show up after weeks or months. If you join and never really come, we will eventually remove you from the group as a courtesy to our members. Why? Because limiting group conversations (on the app) to regular members makes communication and planning much easier. Also, while it may be rare, it protects members from people who join because they are interested in following a person instead of having a real interest in our group. If you get removed, it is just because you haven’t come, and we follow this protocol as a courtesy to our regular game players.

Join us on Saturday for an hour of uninterrupted wordmaking! • What we'll do Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 10AM on Saturday mornings. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. SCHEDULE: 10:00 - SESSION 1: quick intros. 10:10 - timer starts: write for 1 hour. 11:10 - chat / take off / keep writing. OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 11A-11:30ish. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check-in with me after the session.
