Body, Movement and Silence: An Experiential Workshop
Body, Movement and Silence: An Experiential Workshop
**Body, Movement and Silence: An Experiential Workshop** By Katerina Ioannou Brussels, 25 March 2026 Register here: https://www.imaginationclub.org/brussels/body_movement_silence.php In this workshop, we’ll explore how we express ourselves and connect with others — not through words, but through our bodies, movement, and the space between us. We’ll play with simple exercises that invite spontaneity, imagination, and a sense of presence. There’s no right or wrong way — just what feels true for you in the moment. What you might discover \* New ways to listen — to yourself and others — without relying on language. \* A sense of freedom in expressing what’s alive for you, however it wants to emerge. \* A shared moment at the end, where we reflect with a word or image on what moved us. **Who it’s for** This is for anyone who wants to explore, play, and see what unfolds when we let go of expectations. No experience is needed—just come as you are. **About Katerina** Katerina Ioannou (B.Sc. in Occupational Therapy, M.Sc. in Person-Centred Psychotherapy) specialises in mental health support, group facilitation, and personal development. Based in Brussels, she empowers individuals and groups through therapy, occupational rehabilitation, and innovative methods like theatrical play. You can also find Katerina on... Debate Night: Remote Work
Debate Night: Remote Work
One of the defining changes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic is the proliferation of remote work, alternatively known as telework or work from home. Technology had been advancing to the point that many jobs could be done at least in part from home. With a work laptop, video calling, a stable internet connection, and a cyber security program, many office jobs can be done at home without any serious hindrance. When COVID started, many white collar employees became full time remote workers. Six years after the start of the pandemic, many of these people still work at least in part from home. Recent years have seen rising skepticism about remote work, particularly among management. Questions have been raised about whether people working from home are as productive or efficient as those in the office. Similarly, whether work culture can be as effectively created with people often working from home has also become a topic of discussion. Long story short, remote work is, to some degree, here to stay. But to what degree? Do the costs outweigh the benefits? Come discuss this at Brussels Debaters!

He regularly writes and speaks about the realities of Connected TV product development, sharing lessons from building and scaling TV apps across diverse platforms and fast changing user behaviours. His industry contributions unpack everything from platform limitations and UX challenges to experimentation gaps and the future of big screen viewing. **————————** **About the Talk:** **————————** **Behind the Streams: The untold story of TV App Product Management** Forget what you know about doing Product Management on web and mobile - TV is a whole different ball game. Raff has spent over 10 years designing products across startups, agencies, and enterprise SaaS, including a startup acquisition. Today, he's a Senior Product Design Manager at Optimizely, where he leads a team of designers reshaping how marketing teams create content across the web. He's an active speaker in the UX community and writes Some Designers on Substack, championing inclusivity and supporting designers through a profession that won't sit still. **————————** **About the Talk:** **————————** **When too easy to use becomes a problem: from e-commerce returns to AI in design** A few years ago, Raff designed a returns flow for an e-commerce product. It was fast, frictionless, and users loved it. It also helped normalise a behaviour that cost businesses millions and generated thousands of tonnes of waste. By every metric tracked, it was a success. By every metric not tracked, it was a disaster. Today, the same pattern is playing out. Not just in the products we design, but in how we design them. Teams are reshaping their entire process around AI tools that can't even retain their own users. We're told the old ways are dead. Move faster. Ship more. Trust the tools. In this talk, Raff will share what the returns project taught him about the gap between a successful design and a responsible one, and how those lessons are shaping how his team is navigating AI right now: what they're using, what's genuinely working, and what they're deliberately protecting. You'll leave with three things you can take back to your team: why understanding the problem still comes first, how to explore with AI without losing your craft, and a dead-simple habit for catching unintended consequences before they ship. **——————————** **About your hosts:** **——————————** Product Unleashed is brought to you by your hosts **[John Griffin](https://www.linkedin.com/in/john-griffin-designer/)** and **[Dominic Port](https://www.linkedin.com/in/dominic-port/)**. The duo have worked on the design of products of all shapes and sizes and bring their energy and enthusiasm to this unique meetup, packed with great guests and knowledge - for anyone interested in levelling up their game in the world of products.

Improvisation & Freedom – Singing without fear (All levels) - Limited Spots
#### Do you freeze, overthink, or hold back when asked to improvise? Many singers feel blocked when improvising. You might worry about singing the wrong note, feel stiff when using your voice freely, or believe that improvisation requires creativity you don’t have. In this workshop led by our vocal teacher [Sandy](https://www.pacsonmusicschool.com/more-info-sandy), we’ll **explore improvisation through a guided vocal circle**, using vocalises, sounds, and spontaneous expression rather than prepared songs. **This approach helps you develop your ear, strengthen your musical instinct, and learn to listen and respond naturally in the moment.** Improvisation becomes less about thinking and more about sensing, listening, and allowing your voice to move freely. In a safe and supportive group environment, you’ll discover how to trust your voice, release control, and experience singing as a natural and intuitive process. This workshop is based on guided vocal improvisation exercises in a group circle, where active participation is essential. Event Paid: 35 Euro Registration and payment via this [link](https://www.pacsonmusicschool.com/events-1/improvisation-freedom-singing-without-fear-all-levels) Limited spots

Confidence & Connection: Using Your Authentic Truth to Find Your People
Confidence & Connection: Using Your Authentic Truth to Find Your People
**Confidence & Connection: Using Your Authentic Truth to Find Your People** Confidence isn’t just about believing in yourself, it’s about knowing where you belong and who you can grow alongside. In this April Confidence Lab Happy Hour, we’ll explore how living in your authentic truth helps you find your people, build meaningful collaborations, and create spaces where vulnerability is met with respect rather than risk. Together, we’ll reflect on what it looks like to advocate for yourself with clarity and care, and how confidence deepens when it’s rooted in connection rather than comparison. Featured speaker **Lachandra Baker**, founder of **[LBB Edutainment](https://www.lbbedutainment.com/)** and author of *Your Own Biggest Cheerleader*, will share reflections on authenticity, psychological safety, and the power of community over individual achievement. Drawing from personal stories—including the significance of turning 53—Lachandra will invite us into a conversation about showing up fully, being seen, and choosing relationships that support who you truly are. Expect a warm, welcoming atmosphere with space for reflection, shared insight, and intentional connection—plus drinks, light bites, and the kind of conversations that remind you you’re not meant to do this alone. Come as you are. Leave feeling clearer about your voice, your people, and the confidence that grows when both are aligned. **What is Confidence Lab?** Confidence Lab is a monthly community experience for bold, thoughtful leaders building confidence from the inside out. Whether you’re launching a business, leading a team, navigating change, or simply striving to show up more fully—you belong here. Our work demands clarity, courage, and conviction—but the pace of daily life can erode our sense of self. Confidence Lab creates space to reflect, reconnect, and grow with others doing purpose-driven work. It’s designed for entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, creatives, corporate professionals, activists, and anyone ready to lead with authenticity and impact. ***Please note:*** *All are welcome! If cost is a concern, please use promo code PUBLIC to access a free ticket—we want you to join us.*
