Join us every Sunday for an **Improv Comedy Workshop** The Clubhouse: Laietana & Nikki's in Barcelona (C/ Via Laietana 6).
If you’ve always wanted to try it out yourself, or you have any improv or theater experience already, wanting to get back, this is the right place to do so.
This workshop is for **actors and improv comedians**, who are looking for

\- likeminded people
\- a safe space to learn new skills
\- an opportunity to get out of your comfort zone

I parlant d’aquest dinar… **Aquest any ens ho juguem tot a “LA QUINA” o “EL QUINTO”…**
El Quinto o la Quina **és un joc d’atzar que es juga a moltes comarques de Catalunya al voltant de les festes nadalenques**, on l’objectiu principal és **gaudir d’una vetllada esbojarrada i, si la sort acompanya, tornar a casa amb un regalet o amb una panera**, com serà el cas. **Arriba el nostre Bingo particular on tindreu que omplir un cartró de numeros i el/la primer que ho aconsegueixi guanyara un premi.** *Qui sera l’afortunat/ada???*

Poesía: “Poetry Slam Barcelona”
Nos encontramos en el CCCB para asistir a la última sesión del año de *Poetry Slam Barcelona*: un torneo local de poesía escenificada que, en conjunto, toma la forma de una “performance colectiva” en la que la palabra es el elemento esencial.
El *Poetry Slam* es 50% poesía y 50% interpretación, una competición con un formato participativo en el que se establece una relación dinámica entre el público y los poetas... algo esto sin embargo que, aunque pueda parecer novedoso, remite, en realidad, a los certámenes de poesía que se hacían en la antigua Grecia.
En definitiva, pues, el evento pone la palabra y la escena en el centro de la creación utilizando el *'slam'* y el *'spoken word'* como recursos para fomentar la comunicación poética y las habilidades expresivas en un espacio performativo.

Ruta "La Navidad en Bcn": de la Fira tradicional a los belenes más rompedores!
**¡NUEVA RUTA CULTURAL!**
Llega el frío, la Navidad, las tradiciones, los mercadillos navideños... y últimamente, **la polémica entorno a los "pessebres"** (belenes) de Barcelona.
En Descubridores hemos preparado **una ruta única** en la que recorreremos el barrio Gótico viendo las distintas manifestaciones navideñas y tradicionales que se encuentran, pero también las más modernas y atrevidas.
Veremos la **Fira de Sta Llúcia**, evidentemente, pero intentaremos ir más allà.
Pero también recorreremos las pastelerías del centro, **para ver los dulces típicos de esta época**, o los **nuevos comercios** llegados de otros puntos de Europa que venden productos relacionados con esta época del año.
¡No te pierdas esta ruta única!
Éste es nuestro **PLAN:**
1. Empezamos la ruta por la fira de Sta Llúcia, la tradicional de toda la vida. Hablaremos de su historia y evolución.
2. Seguiremos por los callejones del Gótico, viendo los belenes del Museu Marès y la Plaça Sant Jaume.
3. Pasaremos por delante de algunas pastelerías, para ver cuáles son los dulces típicos de estas fechas.
4. Nos iremos a tomar algo todos juntos para celebrar la llegada del invierno!
Y como siempre, acompañados por un guía licenciado en historia por la UB.

**How does the event work?**
* **Welcome** → Guests arrive and register. Hosts welcome you. You will receive a sticker to write your name and stick it on your chest. This will help to remember all names. You will also have a pen and a sheet of paper just exclusively for you where you need to write the names of all the dates you will have and comments just for yourself. At the end of the event it is important that you scan the first QR CODE on your sheet and there will have to fill in your contact information: name, phone number, instagram, mail... and the name of the three people you like the most (It is a good idea to write all the names in the sheet as long as we are having the dates, and at the end just crossed out all except for the 3 we like the most). In the form we will also appreciate your feedback either good or negative to improve the event. You can grab a drink, nip the loo and relax in the indicated area. We ask the girls to come 15 minutes earlier than guys to start sitting them. In general we organise two groups divided by age range, but it depends on the number of participants. During the rounds a waiter/waitress will come just in case you need a refill!
* **Rounds Begin** → Each participant has a mini-date (7 minutes) with another person.
* **Rotation** → At the signal (host announcement or gong), the guys move to the next partner. The rotation is always counterclockwise direction so you need to move to your left side. Boys will be stand up 30 seconds to take notes and girls will remain sitting in same position.
* **Half-break** → There is no half-break but if you want to pause, just ask the host if you can skip a round of 7 minutes so you can order drinks or food, go to the can or just relax at the garden.
* **End of Rounds** → At the end we usually gather at the garden to have a drink. Like this you still have time to talk to people and make your decision.
* **Fill the sheet** → Participants indicate who they’d like to see again. Maximum 3 names. It is important to scan the first QR code in your sheet to fill the form. We could increase the number of names voted but here we are **looking for the real sparkle.**
* **Results** → **On monday at night**, the organizer shares mutual matches privately after the event by Meetup message. If you get a match, you will receive your match's contact information.
In order to create a good atmosphere it's very important that in your profile you have a clear picture of you. If you do not have a picture of yourself, you will be kindly moved to waiting list. Even if you see waiting list try to get enrolled as I Will be accepting to keep a balance men/women. It helps to create a better ambience.
**If you get enrolled and pay and in the end you can not make it, please inform us before the last 48 hours of the event. Otherwise you won't either be given the refund or scheduled for another day.**

# **¿Cómo funciona el evento?**
### **Bienvenida**
Los participantes llegan y se registran. Los anfitriones os darán la bienvenida.
Recibirás una pegatina para escribir tu nombre y pegarla en el pecho (ayuda a recordar los nombres).
También tendrás un **bolígrafo y una hoja** exclusiva para ti donde escribirás los nombres de tus citas y tus comentarios personales.
Al final del evento es **muy importante** escanear el **primer QR** de tu hoja para rellenar el formulario con tu:
* nombre
* número de teléfono
* Instagram
* correo electrónico
* **los tres nombres** de las personas que más te han gustado
*(Es buena idea escribir todos los nombres durante las citas y al final tachar todos excepto los 3 que más te gusten.)*
En ese formulario también puedes dejar tu feedback para mejorar el evento.
Mientras esperas puedes pedir una bebida, ir al baño y relajarte en la zona indicada.
Pedimos a las chicas que lleguen **15 minutos antes** para poder sentarlas antes de que lleguen los chicos.
Generalmente organizamos dos grupos por rangos de edad, dependiendo del número de participantes.
Durante las rondas, un camarero pasará por si necesitáis pedir algo.

### **Inicio de rondas**
Cada participante tiene una mini-cita de **7 minutos** con otra persona.
### **Rotación**
A la señal del anfitrión (campana o gong), **los chicos se mueven** a la siguiente mesa.
La rotación es siempre en **sentido antihorario** (te mueves hacia tu izquierda).
Los chicos se levantan 30 segundos para tomar notas; las chicas permanecen sentadas.
### **Pausa**
No hay pausa general, pero si quieres descansar una ronda de 7 minutos, puedes pedir al anfitrión saltarte una ronda para pedir bebida, comida, ir al baño o relajarte en el jardín.
### **Fin de rondas**
Al terminar, normalmente nos reunimos en el jardín para tomar algo. Así puedes seguir hablando y tomar tu decisión final.
### **Rellenar la hoja**
Indica los nombres de **máximo 3 personas** que te gustaría volver a ver.
Escanea el **primer QR** y rellena el formulario. Podríamos ampliar a más nombres pero aquí realmente **estamos buscando la chispa real**, por eso el límite es de 3 nombres máximo a votar.
### **Resultados**
El **lunes por la noche**, el organizador enviará los **matches mutuos** de forma privada por mensaje de Meetup.
Si tienes un match, recibirás la **información de contacto** de esa persona.

* Es fundamental que en tu perfil tengas **una foto clara de ti**.
Si no tienes foto, te moveremos a la lista de espera.
* Aunque veas lista de espera, apúntate igualmente: ajustamos para mantener **equilibrio chicos/chicas**.
* Si te inscribes y pagas pero no puedes venir, debes informarnos **48 horas antes del evento**.
En caso contrario, no habrá reembolso ni cambio de fecha.
* Debes respetar el código de conducta estándar y la educación con todo el mundo. La organización se reserva el derecho de expulsar del evento inmediatamente a quién esté incumpliendo las normas. Whether you've never done improv before, or you've done it for so long you knew Del Close on a personal level, or anywhere in between, come join us! Swing by *Gresso's* for the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup** for some fun and games!
The idea behind improv is to create entire scenes from scratch based on a suggestion from the audience. This can be done in game form, like *Whose Line Is It Anyway*, *ComedySportz*, or *Wild 'n Out*; it could also be done to tell stories, like *Middleditch and Schwartz*. Our meetup, which is central Ohio's longest running (and free!) weekly comedy event, brings the games (and occasionally different forms) for you to play in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment. Not only is it a lot of fun, but you get to work on thinking faster on your feet, plus it's an excellent way to meet new people and make friendships that'll last a lifetime!

Speak Easy: true stories, told live.
The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 7:00 pm, show starts at 7:30 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast.
Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect.
The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Speak Easy is also a great outlet for performers, writers, and artists looking to share their favorite stories and perfect their skills. We strongly encourage tellers to please tell the story rather than read it so we keep within the spirit of good storytelling and stay engaged with the audience. All are welcome.
