Join us every other Sunday for the Open Clown Workshop at The Comedy Clubhouse Barcelona. Whether you’re an experienced clown wanting to exercise your clowning muscles or a complete beginner full of curiosity this workshop is for you. Sessions will usually focus on one particular aspect of clown for example: bafflement, befriending uncertainty, staying curious, freedom in failure, connecting with your pleasure, finding the game, eye contact with the audience. Our usual workshop teachers are experienced clowns who perform regularly in Barcelona and around the world. They have either trained with the legendary clown master Philipe Gaulier; performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival; organised their own cabaret shows; or have experience of developing clown numbers elsewhere. While every teacher has different strengths and exercises they’ll share, each workshop is designed to inspire you and help develop your skills as a comedic performer. This is a great place to meet new people, play games, have fun & learn new skills! The session lasts from 15.00 until 17:30 and it operates as a Pay What You Want workshop (suggested donation between 5 and 15 euros). It takes place at the Comedy Clubhouse on Via Laietana (be careful because there are two Comedy Clubhouses! It does not take place at the one on Carrer Canvis Nous!)

**The RPG School Initiative** a *beginner-focused* one-shot event series RPG School offers a beginner-focused, relaxed atmosphere to experience the joy of table-top roleplaying gaming for the first time. We will show you the ropes and dice, take you on a fun adventure and are prepared for all your questions. No prior experience with roleplaying or the system is needed. We will be playing Daggerheart, a new Fantasy RPG by Critical Role, using a world called Beast Feast: A bit absurd, certainly comedic, sometimes creepy, but always fun and silly. You will be playing with three to four other players at one table, the assignment happens during the event. We start each adventure with a short introduction, where you learn about the basics and pick your pre-made character. Afterwards we dive into a unique experience, explaining the rules and concepts while actually playing the game. At the end, we have time to talk and find connections as well as hear your thoughts and questions. All games are in English. But recently, the lure seems to have lost its allure. Monster sightings have grown and just last night, there was even an attack on your mayor, Doug Dougle! He survived but it was a shock for your community. You and your friends decide to tackle the problem yourselves. You arm yourself with a rolling pin, a fishing rod or whatever other odd tool you find. Packing only the essentials, you head out and turn west, to the well-known but shunned entrance to the legendary endless caves. What dangers and wonders will you encounter? What happened to the lure? And what will you eat on your journey? **TONE:** The tone of the setting and adventures will be absurd, comedic and lighthearted. Still, fighting somewhat creepy monsters will be part of the experience. Con él nos adentraremos en una guerra prácticamente desconocida, la que enfrentaría a la pequeña Finlandia con la todopoderosa Unión Soviética en 1939. No es una sesión de historia militar, si he escogido este personaje y este conflicto es porque tiene elementos sorprendentes e interesantes para todos los públicos. This beautiful route follows the river through forests, small waterfalls and emerald-green natural pools. Along the way, we’ll discover the different *gorgs* , natural pools carved by the water over time, with plenty of stops to enjoy the scenery, take pictures and simply slow down in nature. And yes… if the weather is kind to us, you can swim! The topic for June is "Roadtrip" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect. The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Speak Easy is also a great outlet for performers, writers, and artists looking to share their favorite stories and perfect their skills.
