Join Equality Prince William and community partners as we gather to celebrate **Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV)** — a day dedicated to uplifting transgender lives, raising awareness, and strengthening allyship. **What to expect:** * Tabling from local organizations * Guest speakers from the community * Light refreshments (snacks & desserts) * Entertainment including a DJ, karaoke, and possibly transgender/non-binary bingo **About Transgender Day of Visibility** Observed annually on **March 31**, Transgender Day of Visibility was established in 2009 by activist Rachel Crandall to celebrate the achievements, resilience, and joy of transgender people. While Transgender Day of Remembrance honors those lost to violence, TDOV focuses on **visibility, empowerment, and celebration of trans lives**. ## Fairway Friends Opening Round – Herndon Centennial Join us for the **first Fairway Friends – NoVA meetup round** at **Herndon Centennial Golf Course**. Fairway Friends is a relaxed golf group for **gay and bi men over 40 in Northern Virginia and the DMV** who enjoy playing golf, meeting good people, and getting outside during the week. For our opening meetup we’ll play **18 holes** and get to know each other on the course. This isn’t a golf instruction group — just a group of guys who enjoy the game and good company. All skill levels are welcome! The goal is simple: play golf, meet like-minded guys, and build a small group that enjoys getting together regularly. **Course:** Herndon Centennial Golf Course **Format:** 18 holes **Tee Time:** Around 8:30–9:00 AM (final time will be posted once we see how many are playing) If you're interested, RSVP and we’ll coordinate tee times as we get closer to the date. Games night is back! With our favorite local game store opening back up, Games night will come back starting Monday June 7th! We are an lgbt+ games group that’s been going for nearly 3 years now! We welcome anyone in the lgbt+ community to come play board games every Monday with our fun and chaotic crew! If you’re brand new to board gaming and looking to make some friends or if you love playing 4 hour space operas and are looking to make some rivals, we’re the group for you! We are an lgbt+ group that focuses on creating a safe lgbt+ community. Non-lgbt+ individuals are welcome when attending with an lgbt+ friend, family member, or partner. Huzzah hobbies currently follows cdc guidelines, where customers who are vaccinated are allowed to not wear masks indoors. With their current hours on Mondays, they are open until 9pm; if they change hours and remain open later, games night will continue until close.
