Une traversée de Gaza, en reportage avec les journalistes du *Monde* Un an exactement avant le 7-Octobre 2023, les journalistes Louis Imbert et Lucien Lung entamaient une traversée à pied de la bande de Gaza : quarante kilomètres du nord au sud à pas lent, par les chemins de traverse. Ils nous emmènent aujourd’hui avec eux en reportage à travers un paysage disparu, au rythme des photographies de Lucien Lung. Leur récit, hommage à la folie et à la patience des Gazaouis, aide à comprendre le temps long de ce conflit. Pour le quotidien Le Monde, il a couvert un an de guerre en Israël/Palestine après le 7 octobre. Spécialiste des enjeux politiques et géopolitiques de la Tech, Asma Mhalla est membre du LAP (Laboratoire d’Anthropologie Politique) de l’EHESS/CNRS et enseignante à Columbia GC, Sciences Po et l’École Polytechnique. Ses travaux portent sur les nouvelles formes de pouvoir et de puissance entre Etats et Géants Technologiques (BigTech), les enjeux démocratiques et de gouvernance des réseaux sociaux, les dimensions géopolitique et idéologique de l’IA ainsi que la souveraineté technologique. En juin, les cours sont libres! C'est-à-dire qu'il n'y a pas de sujets ou d'exercices, vous faites ce que vous voulez. Il y a toujours le prof pour guider la séance et vous conseiller, mais à part ça, tout est réuni pour que vous puissiez expérimenter selon vous-même, ou en ayant en tête ce que nous avons fait pendant l'année. Et des pots sont proposés après le cours! On se retrouve à 19h30, mais qui veut peut arriver au local à partir de 19h pour grignoter, discuter! Il y aura du thé et du café pour qui veut, il faut retirer ses chaussures car c'est une salle de danse (donc les bottes à lacets attendront une autre soirée). Ruelles étroites, façades patinées, escaliers cachés, et cette lumière de fin d'après-midi qui rend cette partie de Paris si intéressante à photographier. 🎞️ La balade est ouverte à tous les niveaux et à tous les équipements. Il n'y a pas de parcours imposé — on avance à un rythme tranquille, en fonction de ce que l'on trouve. Un concert de Chopin aura lieu au parc dimanche. Nous vous suggérons de trouver un endroit avec une belle vue avant le début du concert, afin de pique-niquer et de dessiner ensemble. N'oubliez pas d'apporter votre matériel de dessin, de quoi pique-niquer, des couvertures pour vous asseoir, des tasses et des assiettes, etc., ainsi que des en-cas et des boissons à partager et de la crème solaire (il fera environ 25 degrés Celsius). Le concert commencera à 17h00. Rendez-vous à 14h30 juste à l'entrée du parc, à côté de la station RER Cité Universitaire. Tous les niveaux sont les bienvenus. A Chopin concert will take place in the park on Sunday. We suggest we find a spot together with a good view before the concert begins, so we can picnic and draw together. Don't forget to bring your drawing materials, picnic supplies, blankets to sit on, cups and plates, etc., as well as snacks and drinks to share and sunscreen (it will be around 25 degrees Celsius). The concert will start at 5:00 PM. We will meet at 2:30 PM just inside the park entrance, right next to the Cité Universitaire RER station. All skill levels are welcome.

**Gonzo's Nose is the most popular party band in the national capitol area. Formed in the summer of 1996 by four musicians from the College of William and Mary, Gonzo's Nose brings solid musicianship to a massive setlist of cover songs, which range from the early 80's up until songs that hit the radio just yesterday.** **We will meet by the beer tent.**

This class will provide instruction into various concepts of **Jiu-Jitsu** as a form of **martial art**. Participants will have the opportunity to **study**, **practice**, and **experiment** with **submission holds** and **strategic fighting controls** that are the hallmark of the now famous methodology of Professional MMA athletes and professional combatives users. This **gi class** is held every **Tuesday** and **Thursday** and includes **one hour of instruction** and **30 minutes** (sometimes longer, TBD) of **open training**. Gis are available if you need one. Drop-in fee for non-members is **$20** which which can be paid on-site. Note that we are in **Suite #130**.
