Singers: Bring along lyrics. Guitarist / Bassist: Bring along your instrument. Drummers: Drum kit and sticks are provided. Keys/piano players: Keyboard is provided. # **Considerations** 1. Jammers should come prepared for the songs they have chosen on the spreadsheet. 2. No shows or cancellations up to a week before the Jam will not be refunded. Ask the organizer for a refund if you cancel before then. 3. Spreadsheet: maximum 5 song nominations per person. Put your name on the 'Nominated By' column. 4. Guitarists: there will be a rig setup for each amp you will all be using this jig. We will plan ahead and agree who is bringing what pedal for the day. 5. Exploring the musical archives with captivation at both a very young age and later as music radio presentator, club DJ & musicologist - I discovered only snippets of an estimated 97 million songs even though I went all the way back to the 17th century! We’re bringing back Adult Field Day. Last year was a good mix of competition and just hanging out, so we’re doing it again with some new games mixed in. Think team-based challenges, simple races, and a few things inspired by game shows. You don’t need to be athletic. Most of the fun is just being part of a team and getting to know people you wouldn’t normally talk to. The goal isn’t really winning. It’s meeting people, laughing a bit, and leaving knowing a few more names than when you showed up. If you stick around after, we’ll have a potluck, a bonfire, and a couple comedians in the evening.
