Locating Limberlost - A Wilderness Hike
**Please note the only way to register for this adventure is on [our website.](https://www.wildernessunion.com/adventures/locating-limberlost)**
***Join us for this 10km trek through the quiet, stunning wilderness of Muskoka.***
We'll be exploring the edge of Algonquin Provincial Park in a little-known spot with pristine lakes, budding forests, and incredible rocky landscapes.
As we hike along the trail and trace the edge of a crystal-clear lake, you can expect:
* Dense, old-growth forests where towering trees create a dramatic canopy overhead
* Ancient granite cliffs rising up from the shoreline, carved by glaciers over millions of years.
* Possible glimpses of wildlife like deer, beavers, and all sorts of birds that call this place home.
One of the coolest parts of the hike is getting to see the raw beauty of the Canadian Shield up close. We'll stop at several lookout points where you can take in the incredible panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness.
**There's a mix of terrain, including boardwalks, rocky sections, and well-maintained paths, which is suitable for any moderately fit hiker.**
**Highlights**
**Stunning Views -** Enjoy wild views of the iconic Canadian Shield at the many lookout points along this hike
**Floating Boardwalk -** Stroll across a beautiful floating boardwalk along the lake’s edge
**Sprawling Forest Reserve -** With over 10,000 acres and 70+ trails, this hidden gem has so much to offer
**Event cost: $60+HST - optional transport available.**

**About Wilderness Union**
Wilderness Union is deliberate about building an outdoors community that connects you to the life-changing magic of the outdoors and helps you find your people.
Members range from 20-40 years old. The group is a mix of GTA locals and newcomers to Toronto from within Canada and abroad.
Attendance numbers on Meetup don't reflect our actual event attendance - we typically have 15-20 community members at each event. Large enough that there's someone new to meet but small enough that it's not overwhelming!

Hidden Beach/ El Dorado April 4-11.. Not wild. Not boring. Exactly right
* *The resort where you choose your own vibe*
* It starts the way good stories usually do—slow morning light, no alarm, coffee appearing like magic, and water right outside your door. You slide straight from bed into your own swim-up pool and think, *Oh… this is how people reset.*
**El Dorado Seaside + Hidden Beach** isn’t about choosing one vibe. It’s about having options—and using them exactly when you want.
El Dorado Seaside is adults-only luxury with a playful, polished energy. Every room is swim-up. It’s social without being loud, sexy without being showy, and designed for people who like great food, beautiful spaces, and easy connection. You can spend the day floating, wandering palm-lined paths, or lingering over dinners you’ll still be talking about next month.
Right next door, **Hidden Beach** offers a more serene, wellness-forward atmosphere—quiet, body-positive, and deeply relaxed. And here’s the magic: Hidden Beach guests can dine and socialize at El Dorado, so dinners, drinks, and plans are shared. One community. Two moods. Zero pressure.
This trip is for thoughtful, self-aware adults. Not the wildest crowd. Not the loudest. The ones who think, *“I’m curious… and I want to be smart about it.”* People who enjoy friendship, privacy, long swims, early nights or late cocktails—and yes, the occasional crocodile sighting from a very safe distance 🐊.
It’s not an escape from your life.
It’s a reminder of how good it can feel when you give yourself space, beauty, and the right people around you.

Beaches Easter Parade
We're going to watch the Beaches Easter Parade ! We will take a nice stroll along Queen street and will stop in a chocolate store filled with Easter goodies before the parade starts at 2pm.
Then we will walk along Queen street to see the parade filled with bands, dancers, floats and easter bunnies. Afterwards you can go to the beach.
Queen street will be closed between Woodbine east to Neville Park from approximately 2 - 4pm. For those who are driving it is best to park near Woodbine and Queen.
For those taking the TTC, go to Woodbine station and take the
92 Woodbine bus south and get off at Queen street. The firestation is very close to the bus stop. Or take the Queen car to Kingston road and walk a few blocks to the firestation. The firestation is at the corner of Queen east and Woodbine. It's the tall building with the bell tower. Felice is wearing a red hat.
Please know that when you post a message below it goes to all members who have signed up. If you need to cancel please change your RSVP you don't need to leave a comment for me.

All Fem Board Game Night
Join us for a night of board gaming with FANG (Fem All Night Gaming). **We are an all fem board game group** in Columbus, Ohio.
No cis-men, please!
We play modern hobby board games! If you're unsure what that is, we can teach you!
We'll be meeting on the second floor of Giant Eagle in their cafe area. Giant Eagle has a lot of food and beverage options including their hot foods bars. You are also welcome to bring in any outside food.
Casual Boardgames - make friends, then beat them in games
Welcome to Casual Boardgames, where we enjoy classic tabletop games and social deduction games while bonding over good food, drinks, and great conversations.
We started this group to meet new people and make new friends, and bonding over games in a relaxed atmosphere is a great way to do that.
We currently meet near route 23 and Polaris Parkway, and this is close to areas like Powell, Lewis Center, Worthington, and parts of Westerville and Columbus.
Feel free to bring your own games or play one of the many games our members bring. If you are inexperienced, we will help you learn.
Here are just a few examples of the kind of games we play.
Tabletop/board games: Splendor, Catan, Azul, Dominion, 7 Wonders…
Social deduction games: Code Names, Chameleon, Werewords…
IMPORTANT:
1. While we love playing a variety of games and competing, we are not just about the games. We interact and talk while playing, and this leads to a lot of laughter and fun. If you just want to compete and focus solely on the game, then this is probably not the group you are looking for.
2. Many people join groups like this and never (or rarely) show up after weeks or months. If you join and never really come, we will eventually remove you from the group as a courtesy to our members. Why? Because limiting group conversations (on the app) to regular members makes communication and planning much easier. Also, while it may be rare, it protects members from people who join because they are interested in following a person instead of having a real interest in our group. If you get removed, it is just because you haven’t come, and we follow this protocol as a courtesy to our regular game players.
