Every Sunday we host a weekly D&D Night, it's a West Marches style game, so you can drop in without having played before. If you've played D&D for decades or never touched dice, you're welcome to come and play. The game is at 6:30 pm on Sunday. **Welcome to UK Mafia!** **🕵️‍♂️ What is Mafia?** Play the game that 'Traitors' is based upon! Mafia is a 10-player social game, competitive, easy to learn, and played at multiple tables. Each player gets a secret role and works with their team to win. Games last about 45 minutes, so we play many during the day. The **Mafia team** tries to hide and eliminate the **Citizens**, while the **Citizens** try to find the Mafia through deduction and logic. We always have first-time players and explain everything. No experience needed. While this is a beginner-friendly game, we also host tournaments and online events with players from around the world. Join us at our new venue at Marshalswick Library for all manner of roleplaying fun! We run one-off sessions using various different systems. Whatever your experience level everyone is welcome - no prior knowledge of any system is required, just turn up and play! Entry is just £4 and we hope to see you there. Games available will include: Dignity in Death: Set in a zombie apocalypse, our group of rag tag survivors will attempt to reach a lab that claims to have developed a cure for the deadly virus. Slightly more serious in tone than most other games run at the club, players who enjoy role playing and discussing moral dilemmas in character should enjoy this game. To aid the strengthening of alliances and friendships, Odin - king of Asgard hosts a light spirited competition: he or she who brings in the most impressive game from Asgard’s wilds will be selected for the Hero’s Share, and an exquisite souvenir. Who will prove victorious? And as always,the ever-popular Beginner's D&D! There is free parking either in the car park between the library and Marks and Spencers, or in the car park at the rear of the library accessed though a drive on the left.

Join us at Ludoquist for a fun-filled evening of Lorcana gameplay! Our very friendly and casual league meets every Thursday evening to play. Bring along a deck or two, or borrow one of our starter sets. £10 entry fee lets you play and gets an attendance booster as well.

We playtest all sorts of games - strategic, silly, creative, or whatever. Some games are almost done. Some are very early ideas. We test anything that will fit into 90 minutes. You don't need to bring a game - we always love to have new playtesters! Please let us know in the comments when you plan to arrive/leave and whether you are bringing a game or not. This helps us to plan the day better. The schedule is: 10am onwards - gathering, chatting 11am sharp - playing for 90 min ('slot 1') 12:30ish - break for food/chat 1pm sharp - playing for 90 min ('slot 2') 2:30ish - break for food/chat 3pm sharp - playing for 90 min ('slot 3') 4:30ish - finish up Often, we might hang around afterwards, to play some already-published games. We are strict on timings, so please try to arrive a few minutes before the session to limit disruption. You can just come for part of the day if you wish. The reason we have fixed timings for the 3 'slots' is to make it easier for folk to do so. Designers of all levels of experience are welcome! But if it's your first time, we ask that you don't bring a game and just spend some time learning how the group works. The group works based on reciprocation. If you expect to test your own game, make sure stay for long enough to play other games. As a general rule of thumb, you can expect to play one of your own games every third 90-minute session. So if you stay a whole day (3 sessions), you can expect to have one session to play your game(s). A good rule of thumb is that if you come all day, you will have one 90 minute session with two other playtesters in which to test your own games. It is sometimes possible to test games with more players. If your game requires 4 or more, please note that as standard you will be allocated half of a session (45 minutes). Pre-covid, we were getting unmanageable. As a result, we may have to limit attendees. This is a free-to-use venue, and we have to be mindful that other folk want to use the same space. If you're looking for a laid back Saturday playing some board games and talking nerd stuff in a pub with some awesome people, this is the meetup for you! Whether you're new to London or just want to get some long-lost in-person socialisation, we're a friendly community and welcome you all. **What to expect:** We officially play from **2 PM to 7 PM**, but we keep it casual. Show up when you can, and stay as long as you like.
