This match is strictly for 18 years and older players at the Advanced level. Please register to play so everyone knows the approximate numbers. Please arrive on time to lend a hand in setting up the goals. If you arrive late, you may need to wait to substitute in or create a new game with others using available cones. Please have the courtesy to de-register if you are unable to attend at all. Please wear a black or white top, or bring both. It is up to you to manage your own risk of injury, as this is social and free. We recommend shin guards and do NOT condone sliding tackles and over-aggressiveness. If you have a size 5 soccer ball, then please bring it along. Pump it up to 8 psi beforehand or ask around for a pump. Please place your possessions in a safe place while the game is running. Hi Guys, With Anzac Day on April 25, lets watch the Anzac Day march/parade and then later have lunch at the food court at South Gate afterword. For those who have not been, the ANZAC Day march is a really special event. For those who wish to watch the march/parade, we will meet at 10am at the Floral Clock (see map pin and image below). Look for the really tall guy – that’s me. (I'll most likely be wearing a blue Australia hat). At around 10:15, we will find a spot to watch the parade for about an hour/hour and a half. We won't be too far from the Floral Clock. At around 11:15 or 11:30 or so, we will head over to the South Gate food court. For anyone who just wants to come to the lunch after, we will arrive at the South Gate Food Court at around 11:30 or 11:45am. Should be all finished by around 1pm or 1:30pm. Notes: **(1) Please Bring Suitable clothes** depending on the weather forecast (coat/umbrella/hat etc.) **(2) Allow extra time for arriving there**. Parking can be difficult. Public transport can be easiest option but remember there are no trams running down St Kilda Road because of the parade. Also, if you are on the opposite side of St Kilda Road to the meeting point, it may take time to cross because of the parade (usually, they don't allow you to cross the road while the parade is on, but sometimes they do). **(3) Call or text me** on 0437 595 848 if you are having trouble finding us. (4) During our lunch, we will have a short discussion with the topic 'What does ANZAC Day mean to you? What do you think of sacrifice and service?'

3 Teams. 3 Goals. Hexagonal Pitch. A game of alliance and betrayal in equal measure. We are looking for new players and returning players alike to come play a match. Players of any ability, fitness level or background are welcomed - the game is intended to be fun for a Sunday morning rather than super competitive. If you've never played before, that's okay - the rules are as simple as this: * There's no offside - roam where you will * Defend your goal at all costs * No hands (this is soccer-style football after all) Come down for 9:00am, we make some balanced teams and warm up for the match starting at 9:15. Three thirds are played of 25 minutes each so we're usually done by about 11:00am. All fitness and soccer skill levels more than welcome and encouraged! A note regarding junior players: We very much enjoy and encourage junior players to come along and play however please be aware of the following: * As most attendees are adults, all players must be a minimum of 1.5m tall and 13 years of age. Soccer may have incidental contact when contesting a ball, and we would hate for someone small to be injured as a result of running into someone larger than them. * Any players under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a playing parent or guardian. How to find us - We meet on the astroturf pitch near the Baselball and Hockey clubs in Albert Park. The main location we use is called "Dorothy Coleman Field". We are an all-voices chorus dedicated to providing an inclusive environment for all those who love to sing, regardless of their race, gender identity, sexual orientation or musical background.
