Third Wednesday of the month, every month at this charming restaurant /bar/Tea House in Vauxhall. Entry is £10. The food is home cooked and the fish and ships smells and tastes delicious. We sing three sets of eight songs, and take a few requests. The audience all join in singing the choruses but here is quieter than some of our other venues. Sound has been used in various cultures for thousands of years to move us from a place of imbalance to a place of balance. The sound vibrations, confirmed by scientific research help return your body to a natural state of harmony. Sound helps to facilitate shifts in our brainwave state. Our fluctuating brainwaves are synchronised with a stable frequency which the brain can attune to. By using rhythm and frequency it becomes possible to down-shift our normal beta state (normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness), and even reach theta (meditative state) and delta (sleep; where internal healing can occur). A Rabble session is 1 hour of fun and social team games. Each game disguises high-intensity intervals within the rules, giving you an effective, all-body workout without even realising it. We play a bunch of different games at each session (like British Bulldog, Capture the Flag, Dodgeball, Frisbee and many more), and every class is different. For this tasting please bring a tea or tisane (an herbal brew that contains no tea leaves) does not come in a prepackaged tea bag. You can feel free to bring it pre-brewed in a carafe or thermos; please leave out the milk and sweetener as we will have some on hand to mix and match. We will have the kettle on and fillable single serve disposable tea bags if you would like to bring the tea leaves unbrewed and extra tea cups on hand as well.
