Angular Zurich February 2026
Angular is evolving fast, and this edition of Angular Zürich is all about what’s *actually changing the way we build apps today*.
In the first talk, **Tomas Trajan** dives into **Angular Signal Forms**, the missing piece in Angular’s Signals transformation. You’ll learn why forms needed a rethink, how Signal Forms fit into Angular’s new reactive model, and what this means for building more predictable, performant, and maintainable form-heavy applications.
The second talk by **Mateusz Halada** focuses on **modern Angular in practice**, covering Angular v20, v21, and real-world patterns teams are adopting today. Expect practical insights into the latest framework features, improved developer experience, and how AI tools are starting to integrate into Angular workflows — from productivity boosts to smarter UI behavior.
Whether you’re already deep into Signals or just catching up with modern Angular, this meetup will give you concrete takeaways, best practices, and a clear picture of where Angular is heading next.

Building a Culture of Performance / Same Same but Different DevSecOps
Two exciting topics, two very experienced speakers and much networking opportunity. We are very much looking forward to the next DevOps Meetup Zurich.
Here's what's planned for the evening:
17:30 - 18:00 - Arrival and first drinks
18:00 - 18:45 - Building a Culture of Performance in Organizations by Josef Mayrhofer
18:45 - 19:30 - Same Same But Different : New DevSecOps by Kevin S Perera
19:30 - 20:30 - Networking, Open Space & More drinks
**Building a Culture of Performance in Organizations**
In a world where user experience distinguishes success from failure, organizations are increasingly concerned about how they can attract and retain more users. When digitized products experience performance issues, the stakes are high because engagement rates and sales drop significantly. Today, organizations still waste significant money due to application performance issues. They sprint from one performance failure to the next while technical debt grows. In this presentation, Josef will address pitfalls and successful strategies to transform organizations into performance-first enterprises. After overcoming some challenges that hinder businesses from sharing responsibility for performance, he will present a success story about how performance became part of a major European bank’s DNA.
**Josef Mayrhofer**
Josef is the founder of Performetriks, a global company specializing in performance engineering and cybersecurity that helps organizations achieve their performance and security goals. With over 20 years of experience optimizing mission-critical systems, Josef has built a reputation as a trusted expert at the crossroads of performance and cybersecurity. He holds a patent and is a speaker at international conferences, where he shares insights on digital performance, cyber resilience, and AI-driven observability. Additionally, Josef is a doctoral candidate at The George Washington University. His research focuses on improving the performance of Fast Flux botnet detection using deep learning. Driven by innovation and purpose, Josef believes that performance goes beyond speed; it encompasses culture, resilience, and ongoing improvement. His work continues to motivate organizations worldwide to make observability the foundation of digital excellence.
**Same Same But Different : New DevSecOps**
Is the prevalence of GenAI an opportunity for DevSecOps to shift left further than we ever imagined?
We are fluid in automation for deployment, test, track & measure.
We are seeing an acceleration in design & prototyping.
And yet we remain critically sensitive to the parts of the SDLC that sit to the left, the requirements that direct our development vector.
So how much further can DevSecOps shift left? And should it?
**Kevin S Perera**
Part Strategist, Part Architect, Part Planner, Part Builder, Fluent in Automation.
Kevin is a hybrid techie, remarkably good at disruptive transformation and general troublemaking across any industry.
