Smith will explain UCSD's "Last Gift" program which follows people with HIV closely near the end of life and then studies many organs right after death. The Silver line has two eastern strands: one accompanies the Orange line to New Carrollton and the other goes with the Blue to Downtown Largo. Eastbound Silver line trains alternate the paths. Our goal is to metaphorically reunite the two threads of Silver by traveling to the end of one line, taking a bus to the other terminus, then riding back to our starting point.
