Como ya empieza a hacer calor, he pensado que sería buena idea celebrar el evento en un local con terraza. Para esta ocasión he reservado en Rüdigerhof (Hamburgerstraße 20, 1050 Wien). En Rüdigerhof ya estuvimos el pasado verano en dos ocasiones, y este verano es el local elegido para empezar la temporada de verano. Rüdigerhof se encuentra a pocos metros del Naschmarkt (U4 Kettenbrückengasse). **En Rüdigerhof** no aceptan tarjetas, y **solo se puede pagar en metálico**. Si el tiempo acompaña (y eso es lo que esperamos todos), nos sentaremos en la terraza. He hecho una reserva para 20 personas y, por cuestiones de logística, es conveniente llegar puntual. Hi everyone, On **Sunday, June 14th, 2026**, I'm planning a scenic circular hike from **Payerbach** with beautiful views of **Rax** and **Schneeberg**. This hike is all about walking and experiencing the landscape together, with plenty of time for conversation, short breaks, and simply being outdoors. **Hike Details:** **Distance:** approx. 12 km **Elevation Gain:** approx. 550 m **Walking Time:** approx. 5 hours **Difficulty:** While the hike is technically mostly easy, please make sure you are comfortable with the fitness requirements of the distance combined with the elevation gain. We will take the train departing at **09:05** directly to **Payerbach**. If you arrive too late for the group ticket arrangement, please purchase your own ticket before boarding the train. For many participants, the **VOR Freizeit-Ticket** may be a good option. We aim to catch the train departing **Payerbach at 16:57** back to Vienna. **What to expect** * We will walk together at a relaxed, social pace and stay as a group throughout the day. * This is not a race or a performance hike. As long as you have the basic fitness required for this route, the focus is on shared experience, conversation, and enjoying the landscape at an unhurried pace. * We will take regular short breaks whenever useful. * We do not plan to stop at huts or restaurants during the hike, so please bring your own food and drinks (approximately **2 litres** of water recommended). * Weather conditions can change quickly in the mountains, so basic rain protection is recommended. * Please wear sturdy **hiking shoes**. Depending on recent weather, some sections may be muddy. **For safety reasons, I reserve the right to refuse participation on the day if footwear is not suitable for the conditions.** * Please bring **sun protection** (hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses), especially on warm or sunny days. * Toilet facilities are available on the train and in Payerbach before and after the hike. **Important Note** ⚠️ **Disclaimer:** As always, this is a free, private leisure activity. And what this looks like at our event: We chat and give short introductions to what we are working on at 18:00, then start writing at 18:15. **Would you like to learn badminton and finally hit the shuttle properly?** Our beginner training is exactly what you’re looking for! In small groups of up to 4 people, you will learn the basics step by step: * proper footwork * your first shots to simple game situations * how to serve properly * the game rules * and much, much more! *Recommendation:* Since you learn and build knowledge together as a group, **attending at least 4 consecutive sessions is ideal**. This way, you can grow as a team, benefit from each other, and make faster progress. **Who is this training for?** Anyone with little or no prior experience, but a willingness to learn how to properly play badminton! The host will reserve courts in advance, **that means please only register if you really plan to come** (or cancel at least 24 hours before the event starts). **The fee for this training is 16€ and includes the trainer, the shuttles and the court booking for one hour.** If you plan on paying in cash, please bring the exact amount as the host might not have any change available. The training is done in both German and English. Come a bit earlier so you have time to change into workout/sports clothes. The locker rooms are free to use, but for the men lockers you need a padlock - or you can also take your bag of clothes upstairs to the courts if you do not have a padlock. The building address is 4450 Bridge Park The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400 You will need to scan your ID at the door to get a visitor badge. **Abstract** *Customize the IDE: Building Extensions for Visual Studio Code* Visual Studio Code is one of the most widely used development environments today, and much of its flexibility comes from its extension ecosystem. Extensions allow developers to customize the editor with new features, integrations, and workflow improvements tailored to their needs. In this session, we’ll cover what extensions are and the different types available, including full extensions written in TypeScript or JavaScript, along with lighter-weight extensions such as color themes, language packs, language support, code snippets, and keymaps. We’ll also look at practical reasons a developer might create an extension, from automating repetitive tasks to adding custom tooling. The session includes a hands-on walkthrough of creating a new extension, testing it locally, and understanding the basic project structure. We’ll close with a brief overview of how extensions are packaged and published to the Visual Studio Marketplace and other distribution options. **YouTube Link** TBD
