Before you dive in, let's lay down some housekeeping rules:

**4**🏸 Feather shuttles are on the house. Bring your racket, water bottle, towel etc and maybe a spare racket.

**Walk & Talk**
Willst du auch mehr Bewegung in dein Leben bringen? Und dich dabei noch gut unterhalten, so dass die Zeit verfliegt?
Dann bist du hier genau richtig, denn mir geht es genauso. Alleine ist langweilig und die Zeit vergeht nicht, daher hab ich mir Walk & Talk überlegt. Inspiriert wurde ich durch die Walk & Talk Gruppe in Hamburg, wo ich mehrere Male dabei war als ich in Hamburg lebte. Unterschiedliche Menschen treffen sich einmal in der Woche für einen flotten Spaziergang und unterhalten sich dabei. Ich liebe es neue Menschen kennenzulernen und auch bekannte Gesichter wiederzusehen, dann geh ich ganz nebenbei und das macht auch noch Spaß.😊
**Walk:**
Wir brauchen einfach regelmäßige Bewegung und ich weiß selbst, wie schwierig es ist, diese in den Alltag zu integrieren. Deshalb ist dieser Walk genau richtig. Nach diesem Spaziergang fühlst du dich einfach wohl, fit und entspannt.
**Talk:**
Das Reden kommt ganz von selbst beim Gehen. Du kannst über alles reden, egal, ob privates oder berufliches, alles was sich ergibt ist willkommen. Und wenn du keinen Bock aufs Reden hast, dann gehst du alleine, auch das ist völlig in Ordnung.
**Wie das ganze abläuft:**
* Die Teilnahme ist völlig kostenlos.
* Wo: U6 Spittelau (im Freien), Richtung Donaukanal, Ausgang Josef-Holaubek-Platz, direkt vor dem Fernwärme-Turm (https://maps.app.goo.gl/XwAayz4FQe2EW8WK9) Wenn du mit der U4 kommst, geh bitte zum Hauptgebäude, wo die Züge und die U6 fahren.
* Wann: Wir treffen uns dienstags um 13 Uhr, egal, ob bei Regen, Sturm und Kälte oder bestem Sonnenschein – Walk & Talk findet nahezu JEDE Woche statt außer ich bin mal im Urlaub.
* Wir starten pünktlich und beginnen mit einer kurzen Vorstellungsrunde.
* Wie gehen am Donaukanal entlang von Höhe Spittelau bis zum Schwedenplatz und zurück.
* Ca. 7 Kilometer sind wir unterwegs und unterhalten uns dabei mit interessanten Menschen. Dabei kannst du neue Bekanntschaften schließen, dich inspirieren lassen, von Projekten erzählen oder einfach nur smalltalken und die frische Luft genießen. Alles ist erlaubt.
* Nach ca. 1,75 Stunden sind wir wieder am Ausgangspunkt zurück.
* Bei einer Teilnahme von über 5 Personen gehen wir in Paaren und wechseln diese alle 10 Min. Wenn du aber lieber alleine gehst, ist das auch vollkommen in Ordnung.
* Für alle, die einfach mal etwas Neues ausprobieren wollen.

Ich bin Marie Meyer-Marktl und Ideengeberin, Host und Organisatorin von Walk & Talk. Ich unterstütze seit 2019 Menschen dabei Freude ins Arbeitsleben zu bekommen und bin Business und Life Coachin. „Strahle, wenn du an deine Arbeit denkst“, ist meine Vision für jedermann und jedefrau. Privat merkte ich, dass ich endlich wieder mehr Bewegung brauche – und das klappt am besten gemeinsam mit anderen Menschen. Sei dabei bei Walk & Talk und bring Bewegung in dein Leben.

We will start at Karl-Marx-Hof and continue throught Setagaya park and Zacherlfabrik to Türkenschanzpark. After our walk everyone is welcome to join for a drink at a nearby cafe.
The event is free, but limited to 10 people as it is meant as an opportunity to connect. It is appropriate for all reagardless of age/skill/gear.

Via Ferrata day (Steigerlhüpfen) @ Hohe Wand
Join me for a group trip from Vienna to the Steigerlhüpfen (via ferrata) event at Hohe Wand, organized by the Austrian Alpine Club (Alpenverein).
We’ll hike up together via a scenic and beginner-friendly via ferrata and then join the event at the top.
**Plan**
* 🚆 6:40 meeting at Wien Meidling (where the ticket machines are). Train leaves at 07:04 to Unterhöflein. Please let me know in the comments if you plan to take the train from another station.
**Please buy your train ticket individually** (can also be in advance via the ÖBB app). If you need help buying a ticket, I’m happy to assist at the station before departure.
* 🚶 ~1 hour walk from the station to the start of the via ferrata
* 🧗 Ascent via Springlessteig (~45 min)
* 🍻 Arrival at Hubertushaus around ~11:00
* 🎉 Join the Steigerlhüpfen event (routes, activities, food, social atmosphere)
* 🚆 Return in the afternoon
**About the event**
Steigerlhüpfen is a public Alpine Club event with:
* Beginner-friendly guided via ferrata opportunities
* Different route options
* Food, drinks, and a social atmosphere
We’ll join the event once we reach the top.
**About the ascent**
The Springlessteig is an easy via ferrata (grade A), more like a secured hiking path. There is a short ladder and two slightly exposed sections, but the path is generally quite wide.
**Equipment**
* If you have your own via ferrata equipment (helmet, harness, via ferrata set), please bring it.
* There is a possibility to borrow equipment from the Austrian Alpine Club (Alpenverein) in advance (e.g. from their office in Vienna).
At the event near Hubertushaus, the Alpenverein may also provide rental equipment. However, availability is uncertain, and we will only reach the event area after the ascent.
For the ascent via Springlessteig:
This is an easy via ferrata (grade A), more like a secured hiking path. Technically, a full via ferrata set is not strictly necessary for experienced and sure-footed hikers, but it is strongly recommended, especially if you are unsure or new to exposed terrain.
At a minimum, good footwear and careful movement are essential.
**Requirements**
* Basic fitness (approx. 2 hours ascent total)
* Sure-footedness and no strong fear of heights
* No prior via ferrata experience required, but you should feel comfortable on exposed trails
**Important**
Disclaimer: As always, this is a free, private leisure activity. I‘m not certified hiking guide, and participation is at your own responsibility and risk.
**Not suitable for people with a fear of heights!!**

This is an event for ages 16 and up. Children are not allowed to participate. We cannot guarantee age-appropriate scenes and exercises.

"Grow your own vegetables" Summer Edition
The summer edition is the second workshop in the "Grow your own Vegetables" workshop series.
As always, our "vegetable whisperer" Kim will provide hands-on guidance as we work together. You’ll learn how to properly transplant young plants, determine the ideal spacing, and understand why this is so vital for plant health. We will also cover the differences between greenhouse and outdoor cultivation, which crops are better off being transplanted versus sown directly, and the conditions needed for plants to grow into strong, fruit-bearing specimens. Additionally, we’ll dive into the topic of mulching and demonstrate how this method protects the soil and improves water retention.

Building Scalable Customer Identity Resolution Pipelines on AWS Using AI
Customer identity resolution becomes increasingly complex as organizations scale across multiple systems, regions, and data formats. Traditional rule-based approaches often fail to keep up with data variability, require constant manual tuning, and struggle with real-time processing needs.
This session presents a practical approach to building a scalable identity resolution pipeline using AWS services and modern AI techniques. The architecture combines data ingestion through Amazon S3 and AWS Glue, transformation pipelines using Spark on EMR, and machine learning models deployed via SageMaker for entity matching and standardization. Graph-based relationship modeling is implemented using Amazon Neptune to improve resolution accuracy by incorporating household and shared attribute context.
We will walk through how machine learning models can be used for name and address normalization, how intelligent blocking strategies improve matching efficiency, and how feedback loops can be introduced to continuously improve accuracy. The session also highlights how serverless components such as AWS Lambda can be used for orchestration and real-time processing.
