Another epic and memorable Business and Networking event of London Connector!
You are kindly invited to another of the iconic and legendary events of London Connector. A very relaxed and friendly environment in one of the most exclusive private members' clubs in London, with plenty of space, comfortable sofas and a large terrace area with amazing views over the City.
If you resonate with the idea that business is best done in a very relaxed and informal environment, where we get to know each other, and at the same time, feel a desire to socialise with like-minded individuals, then you are part of the family! Come along, we look forward to welcoming you to this venue that was awarded The Best Private Members Club by the London Lifestyle Award and for those who have been there already, it is not a surprise. However, it is not very often that they open their doors to the public, and this event is also an opportunity not to be missed.
Ideally located in the middle of the City (Liverpool Street, Old Street and Moorgate stations are all very close), Eight Club boasts elegant design and comfortable sofas (and plenty of them !) In addition to that, we will be able to enjoy the open terrace with views over the City!
The programme is simple: we start at 7 pm, and the hosts will introduce guests to each other.
**Who will I meet at this event**? Expect a mix of SME owners, business people, investors and London-based professionals
Dress code is either business or office attire or smart casual, no T-shirts, no trainers.
The address of the venue is
1 Dysart St, London EC2A 2BX

What Does Happiness Really Mean? — A Curated Dinner Conversation (50% off food)
**Meet2Click Curated Conversations**
Each Meet2Click Curated Conversation dinner centres around a carefully chosen topic or shared interest, designed to spark thoughtful conversation and meaningful connection.
Modern life is often driven by success, productivity, and constant achievement — yet we rarely pause to ask a deeper question:
**What does happiness really mean?**
Many of us equate happiness with achievement, status, or temporary pleasure.
But research suggests happiness is something more intentional — built through meaning, satisfaction, and connection.
If we don’t define it consciously, we risk chasing the wrong version of it.
At this small-group dinner experience, we will explore:
• Can happiness be built?
• Does success actually make us happy?
• Is happiness more about meaning or enjoyment?
Inspired by the happiness framework developed by Harvard professor and bestselling author Arthur Brooks, guests will receive a short overview of his key ideas two days before the event to reflect on ahead of our discussion.
This is not a debate.
It is not a lecture.
It’s a relaxed, friendly conversation around the table with curious, open-minded people.
If you value thoughtful conversation and meaningful connection, join us for an evening dedicated to exploring what happiness truly means — and whether we are living in alignment with it.
**Launch Season Benefit**
During our initial Meet2Click dinners, guests will enjoy **up to 50% off food** at the restaurant.
This introductory benefit is available for a limited launch period.
Food and drinks are paid individually, directly with the restaurant.

**Crypto, Not Coins: 3 Lessons in Password Security**
When we talk about “crypto”, most people think of coins.
This talk is about the kind that protects your users.
In this interactive session, we’ll break down password security into 3 key lessons exploring encoding, encryption, and hashing - and why the difference matters more than you think..
You’ll find out:
* why some “secure” approaches fail instantly
* how attackers use GPUs to crack passwords at scale
* and why slowing things down is one of the best defences we have
No prior security knowledge needed - just curiosity. Expect live polls, practical examples, and a few surprising insights into how passwords really get cracked.
**[Alice Cheung](https://www.linkedin.com/in/alicespyglass/)**
Alice is an engineering manager who moved from "fin" to tech. She helps organise Women Who Go as a way of paying it forward to a community that welcomed and supported her in her journey into the weird and wonderful world of engineering.
She now works on creating better experiences and benefits in HR tech - and enjoys making complex topics like security and cryptography simple, practical, and (hopefully) a bit fun.
**Translating Interview Speak: What Your Interviewer Really Wants to Know**

answers for your next job interview.
This is based on information from the new book, Interview Speak: What Your

**Talk: I Built A Team Of AI Agents. Here's What They Actually Do** ([Liam Darmody](https://www.linkedin.com/in/liamdarmody/), With Curious Growth)
AI agents are revolutionising how we work, but the conversation is too often dominated by software development and coding. What about the rest of us?
I'm a product leader who spent a decade managing human teams before building a team of AI agents to run alongside me. In this hands-on, demo-heavy session, I'll take you behind the scenes to show you how I built and manage a custom team of AI agents that handle briefing, research, writing, and meeting analysis. I give one agent a task, it pulls in the right context, and passes the work to whichever specialist agent is best suited.
This isn't a theoretical talk or a product pitch. It's a practical walkthrough of what works, what doesn't, and what I've learned about designing AI agents that actually do useful work. Whether you're a founder, a strategist, or a knowledge worker looking to scale your output, you'll leave with actionable ideas on how to treat AI not as a single tool, but as a capable team working alongside you.
**About Liam:**
I help senior product and engineering leaders fix the real reason teams fail. Misalignment. Through executive coaching, product advisory and strategic facilitation, I support leaders to rebuild clarity, alignment and momentum so their teams perform at their best without burning out.
**Panel: Getting Started With Claude Code**
This is a real "for the rest of us" event. In this panel we'll be digging into the ways ANYONE can get to grips with tools like Claude Code.
Liam will be joined by Maebh Booth and Miguel Luna who have been using Claude Code outside of software development to help them save time and make better decisions.
**About Maebh:**
Maebh Booth is a senior engineering leader focused on platform, developer experience, and the practical realities of AI across the full development lifecycle, currently working independently to help engineering organisations adopt it in a way that actually delivers value.
Maebh doesn’t just use AI at work she’s also created a team of agents to help organise her life, as well as fun projects like a cocktail making app and a geneology research web app.
**About Miguel:**
Miguel is a Product Leader focused on Cloud Native observability, systems thinking, and practical use of AI with search context.
Miguel has recently been rethinking the product role completely to get the most from LLMs including tools for cohort retention and funnel analyses, customer health signals, churn prediction, writing PRDs and one-pagers.

**Abstract**
GitHub Copilot is powerful, but what if you could scale from a solo AI assistant to an entire team of specialized agents working in parallel? This session introduces Squad: an open-source framework for multi-agent orchestration that lets you define teams of AI agents with specific roles, responsibilities, and expertise.
We'll progress from Copilot basics to the Copilot CLI, explore how Agents add autonomy, and see how Instructions and Skills let you customize agent behavior. Then, the climax: a live demo where a Squad team of 3 agents (Lead, Developer, Tester) stands up and builds a working application in real-time, showcasing true multi-agent collaboration.
Whether you're new to AI or exploring how to scale your use of Copilot, this session will show you what's possible when agents work as a team.
