At this event you'll discover how to better understand and control your subconscious mind, helping you overcome doubts and fears. If you have anger issues, depressions and anxieties. this event will show you how to overcome them.

We have taken more than a year off due to the pandemic. Our old favorite cafe in Bethesda is now closed so lets try the Panera Bread down the street on Wisconsin Ave. Please come and join us for some double deck pinochle, assuming (of course) that you have been inoculated for Covid-19 and you are willing to follow the current guidelines of the business on mask wearing. We will start the first game about 6 pm. We play 300 point games so the second game will likely start just after 7 pm, and we will rotate tables if we have more than 4 players. Card players of all level are welcome. We play primarily 4-handed double deck Pinochle but other variants are have been tried on occasion. Games go from 6 pm until Panera closes, which currently is 9 pm. This event is scheduled to repeat every other Wednesday night. Please don't wait until the last minute to RSVP.

Come and join us for a full Moon ceremony. I will invite the spirits and guides to join us. We will have a comfortable meditation and some manifestations and intention setting for the new moon cycle. We will participate in a healing journey. This is very powerful and quite healing. This month we will do a past life regression. We will be sharing and discussing some thought-provoking questions. I recommend bringing a journal to record your thoughts. We can share some stories around the fire and then I will close the ceremony. Bring appropriate crystals that you would like charged. The best crystals to charge during a full moon are amethyst, smoky quartz, citrine, black selenite, and obsidian. We will be outside so please dress for the weather. Valentine's Day might be in the past, but Plato's classic discussion of love and desire, the *Symposium*, is eternal. The Petalpalooza Festival is part of the Cherry Blossom Festival events in DC. With daylong activities throughout the day, join us at The Thompson Hotel Rooftop for a happy hour followed by fireworks that will be scene from the rooftop on Sat., Apr. 4th at 7pm. We will meet up at the rooftop. Petalpalooza is a daylong street fair of live music, dancing and art, taking place at the Capitol Riverfront close to the Washington Nationals’ ballpark. The fireworks will soar over the Anacostia River at 8:30pm. The Rooftop at Thompson Hotel is arguably the best place to see the fireworks.
