Monthly Happy Hour - Sweetwater Tavern
Come join us for BOLD monthly Happy Hour on Tuesday night in the Bar area at Sweetwater Tavern in Sterling. Don't worry if you can't make it right at 5:30 PM. We'll be there for several hours so come on out and have some fun.
Community Hour Floats /Float for $60 during these hours
We believe that everyone can benefit from regular flotation therapy, so we offer Community Hours every Thursday evening from 10 AM- 2 PM.
For centuries many people have focused on learning the healing qualities of water and salt in places like the Dead Sea. A float spa uses salt water to decrease physical pain and increase mental clarity which will improve your quality of life. The sea salt creates a feeling of Zero-gravity, which allows the user to float effortlessly ,letting your body relieve the pressure and tension off all your joints and muscles. The absences of senses of touch, sound, or sight and external stimulation lets your body experience a relaxing environment.
Our spacious float tanks allow you to leave the tank open or closed, have colored lights or darkness. Flotation therapy is very beneficial for athletes, expectant mothers, and anyone looking to improve their health or boost their creativity.

Tarot Time!
***We have now resumed in-person meetups!***
We are a group of tarot practitioners and enthusiasts who are looking to practice and expand our tarot skills through both collaborative discussion and hands-on practice. Everyone is welcome regardless of skill level, even if you've never picked up a deck in your life!
Each month we'll have a topic to discuss together, and when that discussion wraps up the session is opened up to any questions people might have about tarot. We also often break up into smaller groups to practice giving readings to each other. (The giving and receiving of readings are both completely voluntary, so please don't feel pressured!)
Having a tarot deck is not required. (If you're looking for recommendations for a first deck, we'll be more than happy to help!) Some have found it helpful to bring pen and paper for notes as well.
No fee, however snacks, donations for the tea fund, and gifts of practical items for the shop (toilet paper, paper towels, etc) are always welcome.
Use of workshop space agreement at Sticks and Stones:
1. Feel free to arrange and decorate the space before your event, and make sure before you go to leave it as you found it.
2. Hot water and tea are provided by the store and you are welcome to help yourselves. We accept donations in the form of money, tea, paper products (tissues, paper towels, toilet paper) dish soap, etc, to help pay for this free service.
3. You are welcome to bring snacks and drinks to your event (no alcohol.) It is suggested that you bring any utensils and plates if needed, however we might have some available from previous donations if you forget.
4. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, in all areas of the store. Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian present to take any of the workshops/classes.
5. Sticks and Stones respects each and everyone’s spiritual path; we do not discriminate based on race, religion, sexuality, political views, etc. Please be kind and respectful with your discussions, as we have many people from all faiths entering our store during business hours.
IN-PERSON Happy Hour
Come join your DTs friends for Thursday Night Happy Hour at BREAKERS SKY LOUNGE, 2445 Centreville Rd, Herndon, on the 4th Floor, from 6–8 PM (optional dinner afterward as usual).
Located in the Clocktower building, there is plenty free of parking in the area. Breakers Sky Lounge has a HUGE open mingling area with tons of tables, chairs, and couches—all of which can be moved around—as well as a large dance floor. The high ceiling and efficient air control keep the space cool and pleasant for chatting without having to scream over each other. There is a sound system that can be controlled by an App to keep our favorite tunes going all night!
Like to play games as well as socialize? There are dart boards along the wall and pool tables (note that pool table access will be determined by attendance at their regularly-scheduled pool league). Smoker? There’s a 2,000 ft² lounge upstairs that also has pool tables!
Breakers has an extensive menu (check it out at https://breakersskylounge.com/menu1.html) with staple snacks, fast casual offerings, and even dessert. The large, stocked bar runs along one side of the lounge and bar service comes to you—no having to queue up for your drinks!

[Verse 1]
Love spreads her arms, waits there for the nails
I forgive you, boy, I will prevail
Too much to take, some cross to bear
I'm hiding in the trees with a picnic, she's over there, yeah
[Interlude]
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah
[Verse 2]
She didn't scream, she didn't make a sound
I forgive you, boy, but don't leave town
Cold black skin, naked in the rain
Hammer flash in the lightning, they're hurting her again
[Chorus]
Let me put you in the picture
Let me show you what I mean
The messiah is my sister
Ain't no king, man, she's my queen
Let me put you in the picture
Let me show you what I mean
The messiah is my sister
Ain't no king, man, she's my queen
[Post-Chorus]
I have a dream, I've seen the light
Don't put it out, and she's alright, yeah, she's my sister
[Guitar Solo]
[Verse 3]
She didn't scream, she didn't make a sound
I forgive you, boy, but don't leave town
Cold black skin, naked in the rain
Hammer flash in the lightning, they're hurting her again
[Interlude]
Oh, oh, oh
Yeah, yeah, yeah
[Chorus]
Let me put you in the picture
Let me show you what I mean
The messiah is my sister
Ain't no king, man, she's my queen
Let me put you in the picture
Let me show you what I mean
The messiah is my sister
Ain't no king, man, she's my queen
Let me put you in the picture
Let me show you what I mean
The messiah is my sister
Ain't no king, man, she's my queen
Let me put you in the picture
Let me show you what I mean
The messiah is my sister
Ain't no king, man, she's my queen
Let me put you in the picture
Let me show you what I mean
The messiah is my sister
Ain't no king, man, she's my queen
Let me put you in the picture
Let me show you what I mean
The messiah is my sister
Ain't no king, man, she's my queen
Let me put you in the picture
Let me show you what I mean
The messiah is my sister
Ain't no king, man, she's my queen
Let me put you in the picture
Let me show you what I mean
The messiah is my sister
Ain't no king, man, she's my queen
[Outro]
I've had a dream, I've seen the light
Don't put it out and she's alright, yeah, she's my sister
I want it all
I want it all
And I want it now
Only just after Aerosmith
