Building with OpenClaw on Base
**Sogni × Base: Building Real AI Agents with OpenClaw (Workshop + Demo)**
We’re hosting a hands-on meetup to share how we’re actually using **OpenClaw** in production at **Sogni AI**: what worked, what broke, and what we’d do differently if we started today.
This session is for builders, founders, and tinkerers who want to move past demos and into real, usable AI agents.
What we’ll cover:
* **Using OpenClaw for Business at Sogni AI**
How we integrated OpenClaw into real workflows, the trade-offs we ran into, and lessons learned running it in a live environment.
* **Building the Sogni OpenClaw Plugin**
A walkthrough of how we built and shipped our open-source OpenClaw Skill: [https://www.npmjs.com/package/sogni-gen](https://www.npmjs.com/package/sogni-gen)
* We’ll break down architecture decisions, integration patterns, and how you can extend it for your own use cases.
* **Adding Voice to Your Agents (Open Source)**
How to add **speech-to-text** and **text-to-speech** using **Sogni Voice**, our open-sourced voice stack:
[https://voice.sogni.ai/](https://voice.sogni.ai/)
* We will also show practical examples of voice-enabled agents in action.
Who should come
* AI / agent builders
* Web3 & Base ecosystem developers
* Founders experimenting with automation and AI workflows
* Anyone curious about OpenClaw beyond “hello world”
Expect real demos, honest lessons, and plenty of room for questions and discussion.
See you there!

***Guests are not allowed; only members are permitted***. All must register on this page. **Only members on the RSVP list are permitted**.
**Why is no guest allowed?**
**ALL MUST READ & AGREE TO OUR DISCLAIMERS BELOW.**
**Reason: Bad experience from past events: Guests often don't read our disclaimer & follow our rules, as they are not required to RSVP,** which is typically done by friends who are members of our group.
=> **Guest**, please sign up as our member - it is free anyway.
MEETUP POINT: Will be at a bus stop - announced later.
End time \~ **1230 - 1 pm around Yishun**
Ⱶ●Ⱶ●Ⱶ●Ⱶ●Ⱶ●Ⱶ●
**What's the plan**?
A very scenic morning walk [no hike]
The Seletar Aerospace Park area features the scenic 0.8km [Rower's Bay Park Connector](https://pcn.nparks.gov.sg/rowers-bay/) and the [Seletar West Park Connector](https://pcn.nparks.gov.sg/seletar-west-pc/), offering wide, picturesque paths for cycling and hiking. It provides views of [Seletar Airport](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seletar_Aerospace_Park) and connects to wider regional networks.
* **Rower's Bay Park Connector:** Features amenities like shelters, bicycle racks, and self-help repair stations.
* **Seletar West Park Connector:** Known for its scenic, wide, and flat path, making it ideal for leisure cycling, though some sections may be dark at night.
* **Connectivity:** It forms part of the larger northeastern cycling loop connecting to Yishun Dam, Jalan Kayu, and Sengkang/Punggol.
**Nearby Points of Interest:**
* Seletar Aerospace Park (SAP)
* Seletar Airport
* The Oval @ Seletar Aerospace Park (colonial bungalows, cafes, restaurants)
* Rower's Bay Reservoir
***The latest and unpublished PCN is the highlight of this hike, 3 km [in / out] of trail with a reservoir on 1 side, a beautiful landscaped golf course on the other side. It is not fully connected, so a U-turn is needed; maybe this is the reason it is not published***?
**Who is Suitable**?
Anyone who can walk 12-14 km
!
Comfortable attire. At least 1.0 litres of water, sunblock, rain gear, sun protection accessories,
**Shoe**: Wear comfortable shoes.

Agentic Engineering & the Future of AI-Driven Development
With the rise of AI, software and application development is changing fast. Today, it’s less about whether you code in Vue, React, or another framework—it’s about **how you leverage AI-driven development** and which languages and frameworks work best with LLMs.
At this meetup, we’ll explore how AI is transforming software development. Even if you focus solely on frontend, you’ll discover new approaches and practices that can reshape the way you build applications.
Join us to discuss **Agentic Engineering** and the new horizons AI opens for developers!

Agentic Engineering
Join us for an evening of deep technical insights into the future of AI-assisted software development. This meetup brings together industry leaders to explore cutting-edge approaches to agentic engineering, from specification-driven development to preserving human flow states in AI-powered workflows.
**Venue:** Suntec Tower 3, 8 Temasek Boulevard, #30-01/02, Singapore 038988
**Date:** 25 Feb
**Schedule:**
* 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Registration & Networking
* 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM: Speaker Sessions & Q&A
## Featured Speakers
**Sergey Saburov, Director of Software Engineering, Acronis**
**Topic:** *Spec-Driven Development: Modern Strategies for Human-AI Collaboration*
Dive into an in-depth comparison of specification-first methodologies in the era of AI-assisted engineering. This session evaluates different approaches to Spec-Driven Development (SDD), contrasting rigid, blueprint-heavy frameworks with lightweight, iterative change-tracking systems. Sergey examines practical workflows—from initial design to automated implementation—discussing how treating specifications as the "Source of Truth" helps teams eliminate technical debt, minimize AI hallucinations, and maintain architectural integrity in complex codebases.
**Sanjeev Solanki, NLP Lead Engineer (AI),** **Constructor Technology**
**Topic:** *AI Research Assistant: From Papers to Production with Agentic AI*
This talk explores how AI can go beyond chatbots to become a structured research collaborator. We’ll look at an AI Research Assistant that reads papers, analyzes code, understands datasets, and generates executable plans using multi-agent orchestration. Learn how agentic workflows and context engineering help reduce hallucinations and bridge the gap between research ideas and production-ready solutions.
**Ake, Developer Experience Director, Chainstack**
**Topic:** *Building a Flow State Companion for Agentic Coding*
We as humans have the capability of entering flow states—the deeply productive, creative, and rewarding sessions that almost always produce the best results. Flow requires consciousness. AI doesn't have one, and it can easily snap yours. Multi-instance agents, parallel workflows, and orchestrated swarms are TikTok for builders. In this talk, Ake shares his experience building a solution to protect flow, navigating the intricacies of cognition and metacognition along the way.
## What to Expect
* Cutting-edge insights into AI-assisted development workflows
* Practical strategies for human-AI collaboration
* Networking opportunities with engineering leaders and practitioners
* Q&A sessions with industry experts
