You’re not the only one! Around 80% of our guests come solo and about half are attending their first Table event.

**Some Practicalities**
1. You will need to purchase your own food and drink on the night.
2. When you arrive at the restaurant, say the name of the event host and the restaurant staff will guide you to the Table. If you have any issues please message us.
3. For those on the ‘going list’ and ‘wait list’, a direct message will be sent to you a week before the event. Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis when you reply to this message confirming your attendance. We will reply confirming you have a spot.
4. If you can no longer make it, please try to give us 24-48hrs notice.
5. The age range for this event is 18-39.
6. Please note, Paul is the meetup organiser and the hosts at the event will be Vanessa, Josh, Neil and Rachel.

Newcomers and beginners are always welcome.** We are an established singing group and so we will be singing regardless of how many attendees you see coming to this event :) We sing from a book called The Sacred Harp, and we can loan you a copy to sing from. We sing as a group, take it in turns to choose the songs we'd like to sing, and take a tea break (very important!) around 20.00. This event is beginner Friendly. More experienced players are still free to come along. I will explain the rules before the first game at 7:15 so please arrive on time if you're new. The rules may be different than other versions of mafia that you played. There is limited capacity so we can't accept every RSVP request. If we aren't able to accept your RSVP event please come to a future.

We offers Argentinian Tango classes for beginers and intermediate/ adv students every Friday from 7 pm to 8 pm and after it we are gonna run the Social which called is Milonga. Everyone can join us in whatever time that you wish. Everybody is welcome and level and ages as well. Please we recommend using comfortable clothes and dancing shoes in case that you have it. This is one of our performance sessions. Microphones, PA, Speakers and lights on a stage setting. These sessions give members the opportunity to perform in public, so you can bring along your friends and family to see you perform. There are limited performance spaces so the first 20 performers will get a slot on the night. Please note this is only open to members that attend our weekly Meetup sessions on a regular enough basis. Each performer should have 2 songs and an additional back up just in case we are running ahead of time on the night. I suggest you update the comment field with your song list so others can avoid duplication. We booked the room in The Halfway House, Ashtown, Navan Road. Admission is €7.00 pay at the door (Revolut accepted) on the night. Finger food will be served. The venue is serviced by bus and the Maynooth train.

Come to play or listen! Let's play Jazz, Latin, and Brazilian standards! Get your chord changes from iRealPro, and the heads from the Real Book. All and any instruments and singers are welcome. This is a community-organized event. If you'd like to come up and play or sing, please show up 30 minutes before the event, and say hello. DRUMMERS: There’s a drum kit provided by participants on most jam sessions. Consider bringing your cymbals, or ask to use the provided ones. GUITAR PLAYERS: Bring your instrument, and an instrument cable. Recommended: bring your amplifier too. BASS PLAYERS: Bring your instrument. At some sessions there’s a bass amplifier provided by participants. Other times, bass is connected directly to the mixer. Contact us to confirm. QUIET INSTRUMENTS (violin, cello, etc): Bring a pickup, a lead cord, and a small monitor amp.

Join the group for coffee, a chat and bring your project upstairs in Starbucks on Westmoreland Street from 12-2.30pm (or sometimes longer!). There is a lift for those with mobility issues but please check with staff if it's working. There's no charge for the meetup but we ask please that you join our Whatsapp group if you plan on staying with the group. Cost is only €5 a year to pay for Meetup subs etc.

We’re heading back to Scene75 on Friday, March 27 for a high-energy night of laser tag, mini golf, go-karts, arcade games, and whatever chaos we decide to get into. We’ve done this one before and it was a blast — great turnout, tons of laughs, and just the right mix of competition and hanging out. If you missed it last time, this is your shot. 🎯 What to Expect: Laser tag battles Mini golf challenges Go-karts (for those who need speed) Arcade games & game cards You can load however much you’d like onto a game card. Most people will probably be good with $15–$30, but it’s totally up to you. This is a super casual event — show up, jump into whatever looks fun, rotate groups, and hang out. No pressure, no complicated structure. Just a solid Friday night with good people. Also… I haven’t hosted in a bit and I’m making a push to be more active again. Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor. Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 1:30 - 2:00, followed by dancing 2:00 - 430. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner. Cost is $10.00 adults, $5.00 ages 12-26. Under 12 free. Free parking in church lot. Please bring your own refillable water bottle.
