. . . Touch and Move: Kontakt improvisieren, Community schaffen
Touch and Move: Kontakt improvisieren, Community schaffen
**Touch and Move: Improvising Contact, creating Community** with ***Jochen Kleres and/or Zahiro Ji*** for **GBTQ men\*** **[BOOK A TICKET!](https://wearevillage.org/en/shop/touch-and-move/w24-2026)** **Member: 10 €** **Non Member: 15 €** This is a class for GBTQ men\* with all levels of experience, from total newbies to advanced. We meet and begin by checking in with each other, followed by a guided exploration moving from somatic practice to contact dance improvisation. This all culminates in opening the space for the free flow of dancing and explorations in duos, trios and as a group. Bodywork will help us to warm down at the end and integrate what we experienced. Dance is our way to create a space for exploration: what happens when queer men’s bodies meet and get in touch without any expectations and intentions? In Contact Improvisation, touch is the source of finding dance movements. It helps you to be open to the here and now, to surprises, to letting go of performing roles, meeting expectations, and following scripts. Any movement can be part of this dance, no matter how simple – we literally move any way we feel. This creates a conversation without words, simply through our moving bodies. Feeling ourselves by sensing others can create nourishing bonds of community as much as it liberates us. We emphasise consensus, respect, diversity of people and energies, listening, and a non-judgmental space. **General Information** • Wear comfortable clothes. • We’ll speak English and/or German, depending on the needs of the group. • This event is one of two free events included each month in the membership programme.

Read Editing: Monthly Writers Meetup for Sharing, Feedback & Co-Creating
\*This is a free event, but please [donate through Eventbrite](https://www.eventbrite.de/e/read-editing-monthly-writers-meetup-tickets-1981513291596?aff=oddtdtcreator) to support our collective if you are able! Please join us on the 2nd Monday of every month for this event, built for all of your “in between works“ by the [Read Wedding](https://www.instagram.com/readwedding/) collective. Most events for writers are focused around ***creation or performance***. Much comes between this, yet we do not always hold each other through that phase. It is perhaps expected that all of those self-questioning, unsure, multi-path moments between lightbulb idea and snap-inducing performances are to be personal and private--but they do not always have to be. We therefore offer you a space for everything unfinished. Needing bouncing around. Ready for a test run. We will meet in the back room of Cafe Cralle, ***which is a cash only***, collective-run staple of the Berlin writing and queer scene, for a more traditional meetup format than our open mic. The evening will be without any set structure of facilitation, but rather an approach determined based on who's arrived and what their goals are. You may expect some combination of solitary writing time, sharing and feedback, and guided exercises. We'd love for you to show up however you are, and with some writing materials (including your phone, if you prefer). However you arrive, so long as you are feeling curious and open, we will have something for you and your work. See you there! Brooks, Bubamarrë, Maggie & Johanna Re(a)d VVedding Kollektiv \-\-\- **NOTE: Excluding select, small workshops, Read Wedding has hosted entirely free events since we started. If you have the means and would like to support us, it goes a long way. Please consider [donating through Eventbrite](https://www.eventbrite.de/e/read-editing-monthly-writers-meetup-tickets-1981513291596?aff=oddtdtcreator).**
Queer Bridges Meet-up
Queer Bridges Meet-up
**Queer Bridges Meet-up** with ***Nikki Germeys*** & ***Carlos Braile*** for **LGBTQIA+ Queer Migrants** **[Free event with registration](https://wearevillage.org/en/shop/queer-bridges-monday/w24-2026)** 🔵 This edition of Queer Bridges Meet-up combines two collective experiences around expression, reflection, and care. The evening begins with a soft collective singing and sound exploration guided by Carlos Braile, followed by an interactive conversation facilitated by Nikki Germeys on queer club culture, reflecting on topics such as consent, dancefloor etiquette, raving, and community care. The gathering ends with an open space to socialize and connect informally. Queer Bridges Meet-up is a community gathering to meet new people, connect, and build queer communities together. This edition brings together two collective experiences centered around expression, reflection, and care. We begin with a soft collective singing and sound exploration guided by Carlos Braile, inviting participants to connect through breath, rhythm, improvisation, and body awareness. No previous singing or musical experience is needed. The second part features an interactive conversation on the unspoken etiquette of clubbing and queer nightlife culture, facilitated by Nikki Germeys. Together, we will reflect on topics such as consent, cruising, respect on the dancefloor, community care, etc. Through open discussion and shared experiences, the gathering aims to collectively imagine more mindful, inclusive, and joyful queer spaces, ending with an informal moment to socialize and connect. **Queer Bridges: Forging connections and providing resources for LGBTQIA+ people with experiences of migration and/or displacement.** Queer people with experiences of migration and/or displacement in Berlin often face unique challenges in their daily lives that can limit their access to supportive communities and inclusive environments. Our goal is to foster a sense of belonging to the local LGBTQIA+ community, enabling smooth integration and an improved quality of life for queer folks with experiences of migration and/or displacement. ✅ Our **Queer Bridges** program will continue to evolve and we are always happy to hear about your needs. If you are interested, you can send us an e-mail to stay informed about further updates. **General Information** **Participants**: This workshop is for all who identify as LGBTQ+ and have experienced migration and/or displacement. Ruha Singing Circle
Ruha Singing Circle
Everything in the universe vibrates: from the whisper of a leaf to the pulse of the stars. Sound is the primordial heartbeat of creation, and music, its universal language. For humans, singing is not just a creative expression; it is a path to transcendence, a bridge between the mundane and the divine. The Voice, our most intimate and sacred instrument, resonates with ancestral echoes. Since time immemorial, it has been used in healing rituals, as a channel for spiritual connection, and a key to higher states of consciousness. When we sing with sacred intention, breath, mind, and heart merge into a harmonious flow that transports us to deep peace and a precious state of contemplation. Sacred singing opens an inner space of living silence, where vibration becomes a healing dance that harmonises our being. Schedule (draft) 6 pm Doors open. 6:15 Start. **Singing together.** 8:45 pm Sharing food & connection. Immersive Resonance
Immersive Resonance
An official satellite event of the [New European Bauhaus Festival](https://new-european-bauhaus.europa.eu/events/festival_en) program – Saturday June 13, 2026 cover art by [Isaac Abrams](https://isaacabrams.com/) Immersive Resonance is a 7-hour participatory satellite event hosted by Das Baumhaus Berlin that combines dialogue, artistic experience, collective reflection, and embodied practice to explore how New European Bauhaus (NEB) values can be sensed, shared, and lived together. Positioned at the intersection of FORUM and FEST, the event creates an open and welcoming environment where intellectual exchange, emotional connection, physical engagement, and reflective practices coexist. Through a carefully curated sequence of activities—ranging from discussions and workshops to immersive meditation and celebratory gathering—participants are invited to explore new frameworks for solidarity, balance, and collective responsibility. Program 16:00 – **Open Greeting Zone (OGZ)** The event begins by transforming the entire venue into an Open Greeting Zone, where informal introductions and spontaneous encounters are encouraged. This format lowers barriers to participation, supports inclusion, and creates a welcoming environment for diverse audiences. Drinks and snacks are provided to support convivial exchange. 17:00 – **Opening Remarks by Scott Bolden (Baumhaus founder)**: Exploring New Frameworks for Solidarity Introductory reflections situate the event within the New European Bauhaus values and outline the relevance of solidarity, balance, and collective responsibility in addressing current social and ecological challenges. 17:15 – **Short Film Screening** Screening of Re:Balance – The Basis for a Social Evolution (6 minutes, English with subtitles), offering a concise artistic and conceptual input on systemic imbalance and societal transformation. Re:Balance serves as a catalyst for dialogue during the moderated discussion. 17:20 – **Moderated Q&A and Discussion** An open discussion invites participants to reflect on the film and connect its themes to their own lived experiences, professional practices, and community contexts. 17:45 – **Short Break** (food, drinks and snacks will be available all day) 18:00 – **Participatory Workshop: “Transforming Imbalance” (60 minutes)** A facilitated, interactive workshop where participants identify imbalances in personal, professional, and community contexts and co-develop realistic, actionable responses for the present, alongside longer-term aspirations. The workshop emphasizes collective intelligence, co-creation, and agency. 19:00 – **Workshop Feedback and Open Discussion** Participants share insights, observations, and proposed actions, supporting mutual learning and collective reflection. 19:45 – **“News You Can Use”** Short one-minute peer-to-peer contributions where participants share offers, needs, initiatives, or upcoming events, strengthening networks and encouraging continued engagement beyond the event. 20:00 – **Evening Soirée** An informal, festive networking moment with music, drinks, and snacks, reinforcing the FEST dimension and social cohesion. 20:30 – **FLOW Meditation (60 minutes)** An active, guided, immersive meditation that fosters awareness, resonance, and embodied reflection, offering a sensory experience aligned with well being and sustainability values. 23:30 – **Closing at Das Baumhaus Berlin** Optional continuation of the evening at a local cultural venue, reinforcing community connection and cultural exchange. Immersive Resonance aims to cultivate a shared consciousness and inspire continued participation and action beyond the event itself. By blending dialogue, creativity, and celebration, the event makes NEB values tangible and experiential—fostering beauty through meaningful encounters, sustainability through awareness and balance, and togetherness through inclusive, participatory formats.

Libera Animae - Freeing the Soul
Main Library, Meeting Room 2B What does it mean to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world? In this gathering, we'll continue our series on the Sermon on the Mount from a mystical perspective. Together we’ll explore Matthew 5:13–16, looking not only to the passage as moral instruction, but also to the deeper transformation of consciousness that Jesus invites. Together we'll reflect on how spiritual awakening changes the way we see ourselves, others, and the world around us. Libera Animae is an interfaith community focused on inner growth, creativity, and authentic connection. All backgrounds are welcome.
