Cinema Club by Pignetismi: Old Boy by Park Chan-wook and aperitif (en/ita)
Cinema Club by Pignetismi: Old Boy by Park Chan-wook and aperitif (en/ita)
If you enjoy discussing movies and meeting new international friends, you’re very welcome to join our Pignetismi Cinema Club *(Scroll for english)* Il 28 aprile ci incontriamo per una serata dedicata a ***Oldboy*** (2003), un film intenso e disturbante che mescola vendetta, mistero e identità. A new Pignetismi gathering dedicated to cinema, connection, and the stories that stay with us. This time we’ll explore and discuss *Oldboy*, the iconic film by Park Chan-wook: the story of a man who is mysteriously imprisoned for years and suddenly released, only to begin an obsessive search for the truth and for revenge. A dark and gripping journey into memory, identity, and the consequences of past actions — built around a disturbing question: how well can we ever truly know ourselves and others? 💬 What to expect ✨ Open discussion (no film expertise needed!) ✨ Guided games and conversation ✨ Reflections on identity, memory, revenge, and fate **ATTENTION: the film will not be screened (you can watch it on streaming platforms or if you’ve already seen it).** Watching the film beforehand is not required, but recommended. The event will be guided in an informal and welcoming way, within an international environment. You don’t need to be a film expert — just curious and open to discussion. 📍 Location: Eclipse Pigneto **🍹 Aperitivo** **Consumption is mandatory (not included in the ticket).** **A buffet aperitivo will be available for €10 (drink + food), to be paid directly at the venue.** 🌿 Why join? Because *Oldboy* is more than a revenge story. It’s a deep exploration of human psychology and consequences. An evening to reflect, share perspectives, and meet new people through cinema. **🎟 Limited spots** [Follow Pignetismi on Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/pignetismi/ "https://www.instagram.com/pignetismi/") [Read our newsletter](https://pignetismi.substack.com/ "https://pignetismi.substack.com/") You can join the WhatsApp Community after attending the events See you soon!

Cerchio di condivisione all'aperto
Cerchio di condivisione all'aperto
ENG: Have you ever felt in “a limbo”, as if your life were suspended between what you dream and what you call “real”? In this small circle by the EUR lake, we will start from a few simple but radical questions: what if what you call reality was a dream? What happens when you “wake up” inside the dream you used to call reality? What happens when you feel far from the here and now, as if light, peace, or your “place in the world” were always somewhere else? We will use these questions as a thread to talk about identity, fear, change, freedom and belonging. You do not need any philosophical or psychological background: this is an informal space where everyone can share personal thoughts and experiences, or simply listen, with no obligation to speak. The aim is to listen more deeply to what we truly feel and see how this can help us create a more conscious reality in everyday life. Just bring yourself, something to sit on the grass, and a willingness to listen and speak with respect. Participation is free, with the possibility to leave a small voluntary contribution if you find the meeting valuable. The gathering will take place in both Italian and English, so that anyone who wishes to join can feel welcome. We kindly ask everyone to keep a group spirit and speak in a way that helps all participants understand and feel comfortable.

This session is open forum to share your current projects—whether complete or in progress, it’s all interesting! Whether you’re deep into embedded systems, exploring new ideas, or just getting started, you’ll find a welcoming space to collaborate, share, and get inspired. **New to electronics or curious about tinkering?** You’re absolutely welcome. If you’re a beginner and want to experiment, I’ll have a couple of starter kits available so you can try things out—whether that’s blinking your first LED, putting something on a display, or experimenting with simple sensors. No pressure and no experience required—just an interest in learning and building. While we continue to pursue a more permanent venue for this Meetup, we’ll be using public library facilities based on availability. This session will be at the Worthington Park Library in the Olentangy Meeting Room.
